Bruno's Pizza

I’ve been eating Bruno’s pizza since I was a little boy. This was my grandmas favorite special food joint. The pizza is consistently delicious. They prefer cash and don’t take Discover card so know that going in.

I have been coming here since I was born in 1973. Nothing has changed. So good!!!

This is the best pizza I have ever had. My family has been going since I was little and I continue to go with my little ones. The cheese blend is excellent, the sauce is unique and the crust is perfectly made!

Old school cool. I like this place. The pizza good, they could improve by increasing the toppings on a given pizza. Order sausage, get more sausage. But in general, I enjoy eating here.

Am I biased since this is the pizza I grew up eating? Yes, absolutely. But I sincerely believe the pizza is fantastic, the house Italian salad dressing delicious, and the atmosphere incomparable. I love this place!

best pizza in kalamazoo area. the cheese is so flavorful, I don't know what they do to it, but it's so yummy. The crust and sauce are somewhat sweet, which compliments the cheese. No other pizza comes close to this one, it's definitely an original and best you'll ever taste.

I've been going to Bruno's since 1968 (I was born in 1969) and I've never had a bad meal. Their sauce is to die for, and I especially love their ravioli. The family atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the place is cozy. The staff are family, and they treat loyal returning customers like family too. They're some of the finest people I've ever known. In response to the woman who said that Juanita had a nasty look on her face: if She doesn't have a smile on her face, then she must be in some pretty severe physical pain. Don't judge what you don't know.

Lived in Kzoo 32 years and this has slowly but surely become my favorite pizza. I have tried A LOT of pizza and Bruno's suites my tastes perfectly. Wonderful atmosphere as well- I'm always glad I went. One bite everybody knows the rules 8.2

So good! I'm so sad they're closing. We've been getting pizza there every Friday since we found out.

Bruno's was my first taste of pizza in the late 1960s and has been my go to pizza place every since. I love it. 🤠🇺🇸

An absolute landmark of Kalamazoo!!

Where can you go in 2018 and see the guy making your pizza in the window tossing the dough fresh each time?? Bruno's is where!!

Family owned and run for like the last 50 years, it has absolutely amazing pizza. This isn't the kind of pizza you see on all the food network shows, or the tiny little bistro pizzas trying to be something more than they really are. This is thin crust, fresh topping, like you would literally make at home, pizza.

But these guys have it down!

Take your kids once for a treat! They will LOVE watching the cook make the pizza fresh for them in the window!!

We loved the authentic pizza! Definitely homemade with skill. The bbq chicken pizza was incredible with a great sweet and salty mix. The pepperoni pizza was spot on. The sauce with the breadsticks was like a chunky thick meaty soup...could have eaten a bowl of just that. True hometown people with a great story. Very glad we followed the ratings on this!!

Ordered carry out pizza for dinner and it did not disappoint! I had not been here in years and it was just delicious as I remembered! We are looking forward to coming back and eating in the restaurant soon! Thank you!

My favorite pizza place ever. I've been coming to this place for over 20 years and they've never disappointed me. The crust, sauce, and cheese combination in my eyes is perfect!! We live across town but jump to the drive to get Bruno's Pizza!

To me, this is the best pizza in Kalamazoo (or possibly the state). The flavor is delicate, rather than Tomato-in-your-face! This lets the flavor of the spices come through, and emphasizes the quality of the cheese. The crust is thin and tasty. The decor is retro/odd, and there's lots of space. It's quiet and dark enough to encourage conversation. To fill my stomach, I might pick up a Little Caesars; to really dine (subject to the limitations of Kalamazoo, and of pizza) I'll go to Bruno's.

Adorable hole in the wall that looks like it hasn't changed since it opened 56 years ago! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and the pizza was the best I've had in Kzoo, I can't wait to go back!!

Old school goodness, this is what a pizza parlor should be. Consistently good service, food, and a comfortable atmosphere. Tell them what you like and you will get it.

Sadly Bruno's is going to be closed for good at the end of next month. June 23. Only take now until the close. They will be so missed.
