Petland Bolingbrook

I have 2 male rats that I purchased from this Petland in the fall of 2022. Neither one has had any health issues, not even an upper respiratory infection, which is very common in rats. I bought them as small babies, and they are both very large boys . One is a Dumbo , and the other is a fancy rat. Every time I visit the store, I am really impressed with how much interaction the staff actually has with the animals there and how clean all the habitats are kept.

Fun place to take my daughter to burn some time. She loves being able to hold the hamsters. No hamsters were hurt during the taking of these pictures. 😁

Petland is one of our favorite places to visit. For saltwater fishes. Get water changes. And visiting the other animals. I love that I’m able to pet the bunnies and hamsters. The staff is always super willing to help out without being bothered. Always a great experience going to this store

Staff were so much help! My daughter fell in love with a bunny there and they were so attentive with answering any questions on your pet questions. They all were very nice & experience was great, worth the drive has always been our go to pet store for pet buying..

This is not your regular pets tore. It’s right around the road from IKEA and felt like an experience just like the showroom in IKEA. You get to touch and grab a lot of the animals. EVEN the birds if they let you touch them at least. I'm coming again and probably another few times too just to get fish and food for my cat.

I came here with my family and it was so fun, we played with the small animals the whole time and it was great. The staff was really helpful and gave us a bunch of information on the animals we were playing with. The staff helped us hold animals and were really patient with us. I want to mention an albino ferret that I played with, I really likes her and names her Priscilla, I didnt get to take her home though. I hope she can find a good home. (Priscilla isnt pictured)

Love going to this place! The first time I entered, I was expecting a traditional pet store. This place, however, feels like an experience! Highly suggest going here with your little ones or as a date.

I brought home a sweet little happy and healthy baby Chorkie that I've had for 7 months now and I'm in love with him. It's sad but reasonable why they don't allow the sale of puppies in pet stores anymore due to how ethical breeding can be. The staff is always friendly, always a variety of goods available, and the store is always clean. I love going to Petland for my puppy's needs he loves it too.

Every single aspect of customer service is top-notch. Each employee in their respective areas have notnonly deep knowledge of their respective areas, but it's obvious only those who are passionate are hired. Prices are fair, get the fish club, and don't be afraid to ask questions! You'd be surprised the wealth of info the employees have.

We've bought plenty of salt water fish and corals, two rabbits, and plenty of other goodies over the years, and in all honesty, not a SINGLE complaint. Support local shops like this!

Chris is absolutely fantastic at his job. He is very knowledgeable regarding fish and marine animals. He has great customer service and is super nice. I have come to him twice and he is the reason why I keep coming back.

So many animals to see here. From dogs to birds, fish and turtles, you could easily spend a couple of hours here. The entire store is well kept. We always make sure to stop by when we're in the aream

Went here for fish , starting an aquarium and we knew nothing. Chris was one of the most helpful employees of any store I've ever been to and was SO knowledgeable.

Excellent staff members. I really dig the Steve Irwin vibe you get from some of the employees uniforms. Went in and left with another pet rat. The animals are very well taken care of. The store is very clean.

So we have been here before but this experience was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. We had an amazing employee named Jay and he knew so much about all the animals. We ended up going with purchasing a Dutch Bunny and Jay was hands down the best person to talk to. He was so knowledgeable about everything he said. He answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable bringing home a new fur baby! This man deserves a raise with how helpful he was. We will come back to pet land for all of our pet needs!!

Jodi is amazing and you can tell the amount of love she has for animals when you talk to her. Trinity is also very kind and attentive and always eager to help. Each employee I've interacted with (or observed when I'm loafing around) here has a love for animals, whether it be for the birds, bunnies, or hamsters. The amount of love these employees show the animals here have me returning to support the store whenever I can. Plus, I love playing with the birds.
