Orange & Brew® Bottle Shop and Tap Room

Great place to go and pick up some of the best beers from some of the local micro breweries.
They also have a small bar, with a few tables inside and outside seating available as well, so you can enjoy the short summer days.
The staff here, are a bunch of fun and out going individuals with an awesome attitude and a great knowledge of the micro brewing industry.
Even though it's a small place, their inventory is very extensive.
They also offer a limited amount of wines, for people that don't like beer.
The atmosphere is phenomenal, I can't wait to come back here and try some more local micro brewed beers.

Great drinks very wide selection and great atmosphere. The staff is very nice they will recommend something to your taste and let you try the draft selection before you commit.

Always easy-going bartenders with lots of local craft beers on tap, plus a good selection of bottle and cans. Ciders and NA beers as well. Bartenders will give you a taster before you buy a 5 or 12 oz pour. Customers friendly too, sit right at the bar or outside at tables under umbrellas and strike up a conversation. Board games are available inside. Seen beer drinking parents bring their little kids sometimes. You can bring your well-mannered dog inside too.

Had a good first time here this afternoon. Got to have some beers on tap that I've been hearing about, but haven't been able to make it out to the respective breweries to try. Also picked up some new Hop Butcher brews that have been in high demand. I'll be interested to see what else comes through here. The selection of to-go beer is decent to start. Not as big as other shops, but I noticed some good stuff in there that I'll have to go back and pick up. All in all, a nice shop. I hope to see it stick around and grow.

A cool bottleshop and tap room that has a great location in Downers Grove. It is walking distance to many restaurants and other places. They feature a rotating draft list of great beer and stock a wide variety on the shelves. One of great perks of buying from the bottle shops is being able to buy single cans instead of an entire 4 or 6 pack. It gives you the ability to try more!!

Always great choices on tap, and great wall of options to take home and tons of new beer releases each week

Awesome place....great atmosphere, everyone is super friendly and they have something fun for everyone, even pets. Truly a treasure in downers.

Good selection of beers. You can break apart most packages to singles to mix and match your own (build your own pack)! They had a decent selection of gluten free beers and ciders. AND even had a dark gluten free beer (stout) that I personally could drink. It's been nearly 8 years since I've had a dark beer (since I've gone GF) - thank you Orange and Brew!!! My life is complete again. 💙

Love the selection of ciders and beers here. Friendly bartenders and happy friendly customers- definitely recommend for all. Games available and nice patio.

This place is so unique. Great rotating taps. Something new to try all the time. Awesome can and bottle selection that also has new choices every time we go (which is often). Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great place to hang out and just chill. Can bring your own food so thats nice too. Family friendly in the back corner by the games. Definitely a good place to have a good brew, watch a game, and take something unique to go! Huge cider selection if beer is not your thing. PS...they also have a few wines for your non beer and cider friends.

A nice little tap room with an excellent selection of rare craft beers. It's very handy to be able to pick and choose 1 of 2 cans/bottles of a certain beer and mix and match what you're getting without buying a full 4 or 6 pack. They also have a little bar to sit at with a few taps. It's in a good location downtown that is easy to access.

My boyfriend and I have stopped by a few times now and love it. The gentleman who is always there is super friendly, and helpful. Such a fun place to find all different kinds of beers, ciders and such. We haven't gotten to stay in and enjoy a drink but hopefully soon.

My husband and I were fairly new to the craft beer scene when O&B opened. Eric is a very friendly and welcoming business owner. He is always going the extra mile to please his customers. My husband loves Irish Reds and Eric does his best to find that special beer for him. I like trying different beers. The variety of beers in the bottle shop is amazing and there are always fresh drops of the latest and greatest. I usually avoid those popular drop days though. We love drinking at the O&B bar and can’t wait until restrictions are lifted and we can once again share a cold one in the taproom! If you are looking for a great bottle shop/taproom, Orange and Brew is the place to visit!

Had a great first experience at Orange & Brew tonight. The owner, Eric, seems like real good guy and knows his beer. They have great beers on tap and a solid selection of beers to go. Glad to see a place like this in Downers Grove and I wish them good luck in business. I’ll be back!

A great bottle shop, tap room, and hangout for anyone who's a fan of craft beer. If you're searching for the latest drops from Chicagoland's most popular breweries, then Eric and team at Orange & Brew will certainly have what you're looking for (you'll just need to get there before I do!). The draft list rotates regularly and they have tap takeovers from local favorites as well as other special events, these all usually end up being very well attended and a great place to meet new friends and learn about new beers in the area. Their prices are great, the selection is fantastic, so take my advice and give them a shot, you'll be glad you did!

We stopped by to watch the Bears game and really enjoyed ourselves. They have a wonderful rotating menu of local beers on tap, in bottles, and cans. The perk of going there is they have a wonderful variety of beers to take home afterwards as well. Being able to bring in your own food was a nice perk. Can't recommend it enough.

Love beer, want to try a new craft beer but not sure you want to pony up the money for a four or six pack? This is the place for you! Buy a single can or bottle and give a new brew a taste without losing valuable fridge space to those brews you really didn't care for but damn they cost way to much to throw out. Tons of local, limited brews. Not sure what you want or searching for something special Eric will be more than happy to help. Great place.

Friendly watering hole with several taps, specializing in local beers. The bottle shop portion is also full of many local news you can't find most places. Some national brand oddities too, like the PBR Coffee and a slushy machine with the current fruity Naturdays. Only packaged snacks sold on premise. Expert staff, and equally knowledgeable patrons for conversation. Another spot in the beer drinker's destination that's Downton Downers Grove.
