Must Be Nice Lobster

What a delightful little place to have lunch! Everything was perfect. Service was great and of course the food was wonderful.

If the weather is nice, by all means, dine at one of their amazing outdoor tables. The table tops are made from a cross cut section of a tree.

If you are looking for a delicious deep plate of fellowship with friends, then you can fully expect this place to have the right ingredients to make this happen.

This was the perfect hole in the wall location to find fresh caught lobster. A little hard to find but once located was worth every bite. Take some friends and stay awhile. Service was fine, we ordered, our food came out and we ate. We played a game while eating that was in the cafe and really enjoyed the lobster. A great stop for lobster rolls. They even had a sign that stated you could order some for your July 4th celebration. If we lived there we would do it.

The hot buttered lobster roll was outstanding! Artistically decorated with edible flower petals! The seasoned fries were very tasty too! The owner, Sadie, is amazing! Check this out when in the Belfast area!

Pro tip: get the double open-faced melt with fries (bay seasoned) and ask for aioli dipping sauce. Fantastic beer selection and love that they're woman-owned and source their own lobster and use invasive species to knock them out. Super sustainable and lovely spot. #lobsterlove

Food was fabulous! We had the lobster roll, crab roll and crab grilled cheese - all were wonderful! Salads were good as well! And very friendly staff :)

We visited here this afternoon and we tried the Flatlander, the mini Must Be Nice Lobster Roll the Crab Roll. All of the food tasted wonderful. Miles above what they serve at Red’s Eats in Wiscasset.

I had the Flatlander and the butter was warm on top of a toasted bun with a hearty helping of lobster, caught fresh today by Sadie, the owner of the restaurant.

Speaking of Sadie, she was so humble and answered all of our questions. She was super nice and service was outstanding!

We will be recommending Must Be Nice to everyone we know who is planning on coming to Belfast, ME.

But trust me when I say this, keep driving past Red’s in Wiscasset and go to Must Be Nice in Belfast!

Cute little restaurant. Great service. Great quality, fresh and flavorful food. Nice little outdoor seating area for cooler weather and had some indoor seating as well.

We loved Must Be Nice Lobster! Our first time there - Heather and staff were fantastic in every way, cozy place and excellent food. The slider of lobster rolls we had were delectable (esp the spicy sauce). Stop in, you will be glad you did!

Must Be Nice Lobster Co. in Belfast had great service, great food, and a really nice spot to eat. It was a windy day and we still had a blast! When you come to Maine to eat on the waterfront you have to have realistic expectations about weather (which unfortunately the owner of the cart cannot control - ha!). Fresh and local food is always a win in my book. There are also kid friendly options which works well when you have a 4 year old who would rather eat grilled cheese or a hot dog. I can’t wait to go again next season!

Excellent lobster roll from a food truck in Belfast Harbor. Eat at picnic tables out back with views of harbor. They’ll make lobster roll anyway you want it, with Mayo or butter… Apparently a young lobster woman owns the truck and she catches the lobsters too. Very fresh.

Stopped at this place on the way out of Portland and had one of the freshest and most unique mini lobster rolls i’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Oh wow what a hidden gem. We got lobster rolls and clam chowder and everything was delicious. We met the captain of the lobster boat & owner of the restaurant, she’s fantastic! Hope to visit again one day.

WOW!! I wish my town had a food truck like this one!! No complaints here! That was the best Lobster Grilled Cheese I've ever had and my partner had Chili Cheese Dogs. The fries were so good and the service was great!! Great place to have lunch!

My husband and I traveled just after the Labor Day weekend which made this little gem an exclusive destination for an incredible delicious evening meal. I had the flight of lobster rolls which was a filling choice. Like many other reviews i enjoyed the flatlander best (hot with butter) but I’m glad I got to taste all three. My husband had the crab roll and he loved it! The fries and coleslaw were delicious as well. Something to try that was pretty amazing was the blueberry soda! O! M! G! Service was great, the restaurant adorable. Definitely recommend!

Fresh lobster rolls and crab rolls in Belfast. I suggest doing the mini versions to get a taste of the different types of rolls. The staff is awesome AND good-looking! I also picked up some delicious hot sauces from the gift shop.

Lobster grilled cheese is awesome. Just enough lobster and cheese on golden crispy bread. Bonus points for cutting into triangles. I got a plain doggy dog for my pup and she ate it so fast she moved to eyeballing mine.

Great food, great views, great people. Not just lobster (though there’s plenty of that too). Mix and match topping across dishes — true culinary freedom!!! 😍

Stopped here for our first meal in Maine and were not disappointed! Now after spending a week in Maine, we can easily say this place had the best crab grilled cheese and best crab cakes. Worth the stop!

Quaint restaurant selling fresh and delicious crab & lobster rolls. Very reasonably priced. Also, they serve $5.00 hotdogs with chips for the kids(or adults who don't appreciate the joy of fresh seafood). Win/win for the whole family. They sell very cute handmade souvenirs that decorate the walls and add to the pleasant ambiance.
