The campsite and cabins were awesome! The view was so pretty and made everything feel calm. Mornings were the best with all the nature sounds. The cabins were cozy, and the pond view was super cool. Plus, the owner is super nice, making the whole experience even better! It's a great place to relax and have awesome memories.

We had a great stay with Camp Holly for our anniversary. We enjoyed walking around the trails on the property. The A-Frame was quaint and comfortable. I loved having the creek right out the back door. Very nice bath houses. Friendly staff and easy check in/out. A perfect getaway for us.

Had a very peaceful stay at Camp Holly, the bathhouse is super clean and well kept. Zave is a super host, anything you need he'll have it or get it. Beautiful setting along the river with a pond in the middle stocked with trout. I will definitely be back on my next trip to WV!

We recently had a family reunion at Camp Holly and had the best time. The kids were able to play in their field, catch butterflies, feed farm animals, swim in the river, stargaze, hike and fish in the lake. The cabins were adorable and the host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this place enough.

Camp Holly is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Cabins are beautiful, the bathouse is clean, the pond has great fishing & the sound of the creek running behind the cabins is so peaceful.
The staff is amazing, especially the camp tour guide, Emma❤❤!
I loved my stay and can't wait to come back with my family to enjoy more time at the camp!

Nice place for camping. The camp host (the one putting our picnic table :D) took good care of us. There are a lot of nice hiking places around and sceneric overlooks along the way. The camp also had a live concert in the evening which was fun. There is also a paddle boat at the camp which we enjoyed riding in the pond.

Bathrooms were kept tidy all the times which was good. Since we were vegetarians, the host also kept vegetarian option for us at the buffet.

There was a wood burning stove available in the tent which gave a lot of comfort. Overall, wonderful experience. Totally recommended.

We stayed at Camp Holly a few weeks back, and ever since have been reflecting on what a great time we had!

We stayed in the vintage camper, and so enjoyed the creek right outside our window. It was fun to meet all the animals: goats, chickens, and ducks. We walked around the lake and discovered a swimming hole where the creek and river meet. Saturday night, we enjoyed eating at the diner right up the road, followed by an outdoor movie and time sitting around a group campfire. The walk back to the camper had a special treat with amazing night sky views.

Sunday, we went a few miles up the road to Holly River State Park ... Do Not Miss! We hiked to three waterfalls (and there were several more in the back-country). Everywhere we went, there was a stream/creek/waterfall, including on the nature trail. They even had a restaurant, which was excellent.

Misha and Zave were friendly hosts that sought to anticipate our needs (hot coffee ready at the store every morning!). All-in-all, a very enjoyable weekend. Thanks for having us!

Xave is such a wonderful host. Place is clean, bathhouse is nice and private (only 2), fishing pond has lots of fish. Tent sites are well maintained. We will be back. You will feel at home

Great place to relax and make friends! The cabin had a fold out bed so we slept ourselves and our daughter comfortably. There are two full bathroom options which are kept clean and are very close to the cabins. My daughter made many friends and was able to successfully catch her first fish! Misha and Zave are very welcoming and friendly. My family nearby had only kind things to say about their work in the community. We already booked again and can’t wait to return!!

Wonderful place to camp for a relaxing few days. Misha and Zave (and family) were great hosts! The creeks were refreshing and the fishing pond was fun; throw backs to mature a bit, but none the less - fun! The ride from HWY 79 is a little windy, but easy to navigate. Have fun and enjoy this off the beaten path location.

Truly one of the best places to camp for a weekend. I've stayed at Camp Holly a few times now, and it's the perfect weekend trip from Charleston. The camp ground is gorgeous centered by a large fishing pond. It's always fun having a drink on the camp store deck over looking the water and chatting with Misha and Zave, as well as the other guests. The grounds are well kept for tent or hammock camping as well as spots for trailers and even cabin rental. There's wifi at the camp store, but make sure you've downloaded your music before returning to the tent, as cell signal is spotty at best. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful gem! This lovely community is nestled between woods, a large pond and along a rushing creek. There something for everyone — Full hook ups for RVs, cabins, tent spots and a glamping safari tent. Misha and Zave couldn’t be any nicer or more welcoming. The bathhouses are immaculate, camp store on the property and across the street. Within close distance to Holly River State Park and lots of falls and hiking. We’ll be back!

Reviews are often too long, repetitive, or just lacking in good useful information, so I’m going to be short. I’m not going to tell you about the beautiful setting of Camp Holly, nor mention that your Host’s (Michelle and Zave), are two of the most welcoming people you will ever meet. I’m not going to wax poetic about the deer wandering in the campground in the cool of the early morning. I’m also not going to tell you that the stocked pond is a popular fishing hole with the locals and beyond (spoke with one young man who drove for 2 hours just to fish there!). There’s no need to go on about the clean comfortable well appointed cabins and campsites, nor how Michelle and Zave create a sense of family, you may not know anyone when you arrive but you’ll leave with a new group of family and friends, nor will I go on about the great swimming hole down at the river or hiking that you can experience right there onsite. I’m just going to say BEST.CAMPING.WEEKEND.EVER!

We had excellent stay there, owners are very nice. Bathrooms are very clean. Very tranquil spot right on a mountain stream surrounded by mountains as well as a trout pond., They actually had real firewood for sale, not like most campgrounds that sell slabwood. Will definitely be back

Camp Holly. Where do I start? While tying to find somewhere off grid and exciting.. the goal was the Monongahela National Forest-- however, Google maps & GPS surely did us wrong with our planning.. but with no regret-- our getting lost in the woods tour led us to this beautiful hidden-away-gem of a campground with the most pleasantly kind and accommodating hosts.

Within this marvelous atmosphere we found.. probably the nicest people I've met in my lifetime, and though we never actually made it to the forest, we always found our way back to camp. After hours of day tours around the mountains and state parks and hidden waterfalls.. we never really had to leave to be content.. because "home" at camp was far more than enough. Getting lost in the mountains was an amazing adventure. If you're from the city.. this is an amazing place to stargaze. Can't forget that part.

I also have to add, I've NEVER seen a cleaner campground restroom or bath house. Cleaner than most hotels. Everything about our stay was more than expected and the rates of their different camping options are more than affordable and exceptional. I am already planning my next stay. I'd recommend camping by where the two rivers meet, at the "water hole." But if you aren't a tent or hammock type of camper, they have more comfortable options in the A-frames, glamping tent, as well as the VWs.. and you just can't find this experience anywhere else. And if you forgot something .. check out their shop. Even if ya didn't forget something.. go inside anyways. The locals on this mountain.. people I will never forget. The heart is strong here.. the worst part about this place.. is that I had to pack up and leave.

Absolutely loved staying in the VW van! What a neat experience. It was so charming and cute. Also a pleasant surprise that they had wifi, if you don't want to go completely off the grid! Beautiful campground no matter what site you choose with a luxurious bathhouse that is the perfect way to freshen up after a long day of camping or hiking. They also have a small store onsite with snacks and fishing supplies. Nicest owners around who are full of recommendations if you need them! Can't wait to come back and stay again!

This place was great! We rented the fisherman’s cabin and it was perfect! We had 4 people, 2 adults, 1 15 yo, and a 5 yo. There was a Queen (I think) bed in the bedroom, and then a pullout sofa in the living area. A table with chairs for 4. A full bath and a kitchenette. The fridge was slightly bigger than other kitchenettes I’ve seen. It’s between a pond and river, so either way you look you have a great view! We didn’t get to explore the property much because it was pretty cold and windy and either rained or blowed snow most of the time we were there (which was only from about 5 pm-10 am). We will be going back when it warms up, and look forward to checking things out a little more!

The campground has got it going for the kids and family oriented campers. The owners are people persons and have a lot of sweet WV local origin souvenirs and me.ory keepsakes. Had a great maiden voyage to Webster county with our pop-up camper.
