Brighton Coffee House and Theater

I have never found an atmosphere more welcoming.
I was blessed to be able to celebrate my wedding shower here and I couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere and staff to make their spectacular drinks. I have known everyone at BCAT for a long time and they truly make the best lattes, matcha, and teas, while doing it with love.
If you are in the area you NEED to stop in and try their drinks, you won’t be disappointed with both their service, excellent coffees, and delicious pastries (they even have gluten free).

Neat place. Excellent coffee. Decaf oat milk latte was one of the best I had.

First thing to say is the coffee is so good but the friendliness of the staff just makes the coffee taste better. I sure you know what I mean. I come here alot because of those two reasons. The place is large also to do some business or home work stuff and get a muffin. They have alot of gluten free vegan options and the are amazing.

Such a gem of a local coffee shop! Great location downtown Brighton. This coffee shop has such a great light and bright atmosphere that’s very calming. Their baked goods are to die for. I highly recommend the chocolate croissant or the blueberry danish! Super friendly staff too!!!

Nice to have a coffee early in the morning inside and outside with quiet lake.

I go here every other week to have coffee with my son, who lives about an hour & a half away from me -- Brighton's the halfway point. The food & coffee are great. We normally meet up on Wednesdays, although we did try once in a Friday & it was far more crowded. If you want a savory breakfast pastry, you have to get there earlier than 9 am on a Friday. At 9, there are still some Wednesday savories available. (Note: I do appreciate the store not wasting food, & if I am "stuck" eating a sweet, ah, poor me. ;-) The food is fine -- worth the occasional splurge.
We've been coming here in the fall & winter so far. The view from the upper room is lovely, so I am looking forward to sit-outside weather (there is a patio). There's free parking in the back.
As noted, I visit to have a human conversation, so I don't have first hand experience of the wifi, but I do see people working on their computers, & I haven't heard complaints.

I LOVE local coffee shops and this was the perfect place to stop on the way home from Detroit to Grand Rapids for a latte. The espresso was good and the place had such a unique feel! Not to mention the beautiful little lake outside. If I lived in Brighton, I would spend all of my time here!!

What a delightful coffee shop! Brighton Coffee House has outstanding coffee, tasty treats, and a few more substantial choices like sandwiches. You'll find service is friendly, with helpful employees who answer questions with a smile. The homey, inviting seating area with couches, as well as tables and chairs, is perfect for socializing or quietly studying. There's also an awesome patio overlooking the water, complete with the serene sound of a fountain. Add to that the outstanding location in the fabulous downtown Brighton, and you have a destination worth visiting time and again.

Easily the best coffee in the area, I highly recommend giving it a shot. I give it 5 stars but it’s not perfect. The first two times I came in, I ordered a large iced latte and they gave me a small but I didn’t know bc it was my first time. Then the third time I got the same exact order except this time I tipped and they gave me an actual large. It could just be lack of training but I really don’t like the idea of tipping before they make my coffee. Other than that I have nothing but positive things to say about the coffee, the environment, and the service!

I travel to Brighton occasionally for work and had never noticed to stop at this coffee shop. I’ve now stopped every morning and afternoon since I’ve been here this week. The staff is very friendly, the coffee and food are top notch, and the atmosphere is as classic as it gets. In the afternoons you’ll find a bustling coffee house full of life and even the occasional pianist playing a tune on a rustic piano. If you love coffee and culture you have to stop at Brighton Coffee House!

Good coffee, but their other drinks are great! I highly suggest the Italian sodas and lavender fields drink. All the bakery items are solid.

One of my favorite places in town! The coffee is AMAZING and the interior is super cute. I've met friends here, taken myself out for a treat, and had countless business meet-ups in this space.

Great service! The lattes are pure art & the staff behind the counter made us feel right at home. I highly recommend a pour over if it's your first time in. I'm bias for a good mocha latte though! Either way you can't go wrong.

Beautiful coffee shop that moonlights as a small theater with live music on occasion. They had gluten free chocolate cake!!! It was wonderful! Spacious with a modern yet cozy industrial feel.

The staff was very friendly, they have an amazing selection and the coffee was great! There's a ton of seating both inside and outside. an overall wonderful place to visit and have a great coffee or snack.

Brighton coffee house was packed on a Saturday afternoon and the place to be! The drinks and pastries were really good and I like that they give you a free drink if you buy a bag of coffee! Would go back again.

This is the most delicious blueberry muffin I've ever had, and it's made with "No" vegetable oils (seed oils)

On vacation and needed wifi for a zoom meeting. Stopped in and had cafe mocha, cinnamon twist, blueberry muffin, and a to go honey lavender latte. Bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly, plenty of seating, and nice scenery. They also had outdoor seating and seating that looked over the Mill pond.
