Shannon and the staff were wonderful to deal with during a very difficult time. I appreciated that Shannon kept in touch to let me know what was going on every step of the way through the process. She treated me like a caring family member, which I really appreciated.

Unfortunately when my father passed, I used a different company in Forsyth, and deeply regret that decision. There was night and day difference with the professionalism, timeliness and compassion showed to me by the staff at Calvert.

Comforting & compassionate are the words I would choose for the service we received. From the day we made the pre-arrangements to the day we had to we had to make the actual arrangements for the services for our mom, these people were so caring. Everyone we talked with was so caring and patient with our decisions..all the way to the grave side service. I would highly recommend anyone that has to go through this to lean on these great people for their guidance and comforting words. They have even reached out over the last few weeks to make sure we are doing okay and if we need anything else. This staff made our emotional day much easier.

It was great working with Ron. He was always available for us at anytime. This is the first time me and my siblings had to go though this and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dawson Wykoff really helped us out when my mom passed. They took over for another funeral home and everything went smoothly after that. The service we held in Decatur was handled well, and they even drove over 2 hours to handle the internment. I would definitely recommend Dawson & Wycoff.

We first met with Dawson and Wikoff (Mt. Zion location) when my father in law passed away - Because they were so amazing in planning his service, we have since used them for my brother in law’s, mother in law’s and my mom’s services. I cannot say enough good things about Ron and his staff. They are so caring and professional. It is very difficult to lose someone you love and plan a funeral - Ron and his staff are so understanding, helpful and knowledgeable…They truly make the experience as seamless as possible…Knowing they were in charge of our family members’ services was one less stress we had to worry about. They were great and a much needed guide in such a hard time to navigate. They have been with us for over 30 years.

When my husband passed away, Ron was our funeral director. He was so helpful in the planning process, as nothing had been preplanned. My family has used Dawson & Wikoff as far back as I can remember and I didn’t even consider going anywhere else.

Every single detail was taken care of when my wife passed away this past Father's Day. Being a holiday was it was extremely more difficult for our 3 children and 11 grandchildren. Ron and his staff took such good care of our family with so much compassion and care before and after Judy's funeral. My daughter afterwards referred to Ron and his staff as "a well oiled machine." That term may seem a little out of place describing a funeral home, but every detail was taken care before we even asked. I couldn't have made my wifes arrangements without Ron's guidance. I also had Ron open a file for me when my time comes and my children are so happy that I did. Working with fellow Christians is always a wonderful blessing. Ron and his staff always follow up and check on me to see if there's anything else they can do. I can't ask for any any better service and compassion.

Ron Johnson & the Dawson & Wikcoff staff provided excellent care and service to my family after the loss of my Mother. She was 99 years old and had lost a lot of weight during her last 30 days. She looked so nice. Even her hair & makeup was done nicely. They pay attention to the little details. The staff is caring and thoughtful during a very stressful time. I would highly recommend them.
