Love's Travel Stop

Always a fan of Love's Travel Stops. The store is very well organized and the bathrooms are incredibly clean!

Normally, only stop at only Loves locations. I find them to have the cleanest bathrooms. This location was no exception. They have shower stalls which are clean as well. Lovely staff as usual. Great gas prices. Be sure to download the app for 10 cents off a gallon at each fill up. Safe travels

Met a hardworking woman there , her name is April, she is very kind and professional, the trash was full and she saw I wanted to throw out garbage from my truck, she quickly said not to worry and got to mine to take the trash , she was Even picking up dog poop after owners don't clean up after there dogs , Truckers appreciate workers like April, give that woman a raise and credit

I wanted to personally thank Mr.Steve, (Stevey Wonder) for coming out and helping me when i had a blowout westbound on I80. He was quick and fantastic. Got everything handled and back on the road quickly and with a smile!!

Had a tire issue on trailer,couldn't be repaier,had to replace with new. All the guys there were very professional and got me out in a timely manor. Since was late got a parking spot they keep just for this. Very good experience under the circumstances. Will definitely keep them in mind if problems in future

We very much appreciated the fenced dog park on our travels. I wish more places did this! Easy in, easy out, even in our huge rig with a tow.

Very clean and nice gas station. I can see why it was so busy; it is nicer than most gas stations between Omaha and Des Moines. The bathrooms are great. They have real doors that offer privacy and were clean. They also had a nice variety of foods (regular gas station stuff like pre-made sandwiches and hotdogs on a roller) and drinks.

It was a nice stop on our trip. Will try to remember this place for next time we make the trek.

After stopping on top 10 caliber gas stop at the North Platte NE Love's followed by the terribly disappointing Love's in Aurora NE, it was really nice to stop at the Shelby, Iowa Love's which was at the normal Love's standard that I love. In fact, this one was just only a notch or 2 below the North Platte one. That was probably because I didn't need a lunch stop at this time. Like all Love's except Aurora NE , it has diesel, space, fruit, clean restrooms, and other necessary travel items. So, like all Love's except the Aurora NE one, I love the Shelby IA Love's. Important: if you are going west on 80, fill it to the brim here and skip the one in Aurora NE which does NOT HAVE DIESEL and is untruckable.❤💛💓🏁⛽🚚🚛🌽🍉🍍

Great place to stop and take a shower. $15.00 for 10 min of water. Pretty sure you can take a little longer than that in the room but that is all the time you have the water for. Was in a hurry so I did not use the full 10 minutes. Included in the price is liquid soap from a dispenser on the wall, wash cloth, face towel and body towel. Coffee options were good from brewed to order machine to multiple flavors and the pre brewed from a carafe. Bring your own cup to save some cash and trash.

I want to thank Caleb Livingood, Stevie Mitchell, Dustin Schnepel at the Shelby, IA. Repair shop for saving my granddaughter and myself from potential catastrophe as they all tied down a car that was Not tied down properly in a trailer we were hauling down to Las Vegas, NV. They all did a awesome job & we felt such gratitude for all they did for us to safety get to Nevada

So cool that Love's is building 350 dog parks and counting! Makes road tripping that much better and will for sure be grabbing gas and snacks at this Love's location whenever I come into the state so that they can have money to do more dog parks!

All the staff are generally nice with the exception of few white male truck drivers who consider themselves important. Did you know that the average white male truck driver had an IQ of 75.
Above average should be in between 110 or above.

Pretty clean and fast service.
Gas pumps are fast.
Has a Chester's chicken and McDonald's inside.
Can buy clothes and toys here.
Truck driver side has a nice selection of truck accessories.

Another great loves, good truck parking. Definitely one of the less busy loves mind you at least early morning compared to others. The staff was nice and the coffee hot even at 4am just the way I like it.

I’ve never left a review for a gas station before, but after the wonderful experience I just had, I have to. Staff is ridiculously nice. I don’t mean 1 staff member, I mean every single one I encountered (about 3). A friend and I are road tripping out west and needed a place to shower. We were both a little skeptical about showering at a truck stop. We could not have been more wrong. The showers are spacious and shockingly clean. Further more there is an equally clean toilet, and clean towels provided in the rooms. I’d give 6 stars to this place if I could.

Loves is always the go to place to stop while on the road. Here at this Love's travel stop there's always friendly staff to help you out! I even got a chance to speak with the manager who was extremely well mannered and helpful. Very clean and well kept. If you're passing through the area and need to make a stop to rest or are in need of emergency repairs I highly recommend you take the time to stop and meet the great people here!

Loves travel stops are the best. For going across country, we try to find a loves first before the other truck stops. The fuel is always fine, there's snacks and drinks inside, it's usually very easy to get in and out of, and I like them to be close to the freeway so I can get back on the road quickly. This one in particular was great.

Went for Chester's Chicken and it was great! I called ahead because I had a big order and it was ready a few minutes after I got there. Also found a woven blanket my daughter liked and drinks in the convenience store. Employees were all friendly and store is clean!

Very nice quick off and on I80 for fuel and food. Very appreciative of the dog park on site. Our pups were able to burn off some energy during a long road trip

The showers here are amazing and the truck parking is average. Two restaurants located inside but neither is 24hr and the mc. Donald's closes at 11pm. So heads up on that. They let you refill water bottles at this location!
