These guys are so knowledgeable and so helpful. To make my point I was going to purchase something that I thought I needed and it was expensive, they listen to me heard what I had to say, and actually changed what I was going to buy to something cheaper That I had overlooked completely. These people are here to help you not try to just take your money.

I love this store. Service has always been great, and prices are probably the best in town. I buy all my animal feed there, which includes dog, cat, chicken, duck, quail, goat, and rabbits. I trust that the food has what's promised and all my animals thrive on it. They load the food for you too! They also frequently have chicks of various kinds available.

My Dad always got his supplies here. They are always well stocked and the employees are always very helpful!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had everything we were looking for in feed for our various livestock.

First time buying feed in bulk from them. We had a small snafu with the warehouse, but the manager got the big boss on the phone and they got my order over to the store so we could pick it up on Good Friday!! I mean really? Amazing, they waited patiently on us to arrive loaded us up and we all got to go home!

Store is only a fraction of what I remember as a kid, but it is still operating. Good place to get fresh fruits and vegetables to transplant into your garden at home. They also still offer a variety of high quality apparel.

As far as a primary 'feed store' this one has the most supply inside and out. The warehouse entryway was super clean and organized the day I was there, although my products loaded were filthy, since instead of grabbing them from the shelf they pulled part of them from somewhere deep in the warehouse that didn't get cleaned very often. The boys out back were super helpful, and quick to grab the tape when a bag burst it's corner (I wasn't going to swap, last bag of ten)! I'm sure these guys can order whatever is needed that they don't already have. Most vendors come on a weekly basis!

Lonestar Feed sells the product I was looking for. Website shows an address on Fredonia St., Nacogdoches, TX. But it is the corporate office, not the store. The store name is different, Lonestar Farm and Home located at Main Street. Once I figured that out Maps was excellent getting me there. Can Maps link the two? Or is that an issue to take up with the website?

They are good folks. Always able to help me one way or another.. I highly recommend them and their advice... :)

I'm rather obsessive when it comes to fresh feed and they cater to that obsession. If they don't have what suits me, they'll run to the mill to get it while I wait.
