I was here for not even 5 min, and very nice guy named Bear came and greated me. He asked what I was working on to figure out exactly what I needed. I got everything I needed quickly and with great service.

Being 87 years old I have been to the best hardware stores in El Campo, Wharton, Rockport, Houston, and Austin. All of those are/were way above average. I am submitting this based on my experience with the hardware part of Moore 's but I suspect my rating of the lumber section would be the same. I think Moore's is a lot better than those I mentioned and should be given more than 5 stars (maybe 8 or 9).
