First time eating at McEwen Steakhouse . I gave them a 5 star Although nothing fancy they Welcomed us as if they were a Five star restaurant. They were very attentive to our needs never letting our drinks run dry. Steaks were A-1 cooked how I ordered . baked potatoes hot and fresh . Side salad plentiful. Coffee good and hot . Could not ask for better food or service . Reasonably priced .! Restrooms clean
We will go back .

I have been searching a long time for a place with a GOOD steak in this area. McEwen is now my "go to place" ! I had a juicy ribeye, cooked to perfection, w/homemade delicious potato salad & fresh, fried green tomatoes! I am telling you, go there! My friends' meals were just as delicious, too! It is worth the drive. The folks there are super friendly & take great care of you. And the prices are totally reasonable. I left there "full as a tick" and cannot wait to go back. Maybe next time I will try to leave room for dessert...?

Great food and AMAZING prices. Their specials are cheaper than burger king! We haven't gone the steak route but have had oysters, shrimp, soup, BBQ chicken, roast
beef, and others and everything was very good. Service was attentive without being bothersome. This is family restaurant with quality food and prices that will keep you coming back!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is REALLY good and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality. The steaks are reliably excellent, the salmon is never dry, and the chicken is fantastic. The grilled shrimp are my favorite to pair with a steak, and my husband loves the grilled cheese and chilli for lunch. Not a bad choice in the place!

We have been here twice and are impressed with both the food and service. I first tried the fried Grouper and it was excellent. Now how many places even offer that? My second time I got ribs and they were also fine. My wife's side salad looked like what most places serve as a main entrée. We love this place!

We decided to give this place a try tonight. It was the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. My son got the children's spaghetti and it was amazing and a huge portion for a child. Our steaks were great and the sides were just as good. My wife got baked beans with her's and they were bbq competition worthy beans (I'm a certified kcbs judge). They did not cut corners on anything. They put time and care into every dish they cooked. I would put this place up against any corporate steak house as far as the quality goes. Their prices are very reasonable. We will be going back.

Service was very good, food was excellent, had the shrimp and fries platter with added cole slaw hubby had chicken and dressing with green beans and squash casserole. He cleaned his plate, I had a few fries left. Have not had anything that was not good and good sized portions. Definitely will be back and recommend.

This is a wonderful hometown restaurant with great staff, great food and a great location. If you haven't ventured in yet, I would highly suggest stopping in for a bite to eat. Their menu clicks about every box for variety. And if you're not completely stuffed from your meal then try the peach cobbler....really good!

Had lunch with a local vendor which supplies our company in California. Food was delicious and dessert even better. Banana pudding is the best!

Excellence service! Value for the money.

It was my family's first visit and all of our food was very tasty. We would patronize this place again. It would be better if they would remove the center wall and utilize the full floor space for dining purposes only.

There tbone steaks are so good. I would suggest there ribs as well delisious. Also there spaghetti really good. There pork chops not good. Service is wonderful ask for a chick named Josie sweetest person always smiling takes really good care of us every time.

Loved the menu choices. Amazing food, awesome service and even fantastic plate lunches.. you can't go wrong.

Our food was very good. Ribs were very tender. Sauce was not strong. Very good meal.

The grilled catfish was delicious. We didn't care for the slaw.
