Tacos Locos

I really enjoyed all the yummy 😋 tacos and beans, the salsa was good too not to hot just the right amount. Plan to visit more..to try all the menu...prices are reasonable 😀

Great food! The tacos are well served. Although the lonches don't look as appealing like other taquerias, they are delicious! The bistek has good flavor! Each order comes grilled onions, charro beans, green salsa, and a drink. They have outdoor seating and accept cash, debit, and credit cards. Tacos Locos are open everyday until 9PM. The customer service was also good and serve fast. Will definitely come back!

Great spot! They have a limited menu but it is soooo good. The owners were very friendly. Very happy I stopped here on my way through town!

First time here but the loyalty of a customer has been won. These are by far the best tacos in the lower valley. Moved from Hidalgo county this way about two years ago and I still have not a great taco place (no food chain restaurant) that has quality food like home. Even gone to Brownsville for the well known places there, but they weren’t as delicious as these!!! I can only imagine what the “papa Asada” tastes like. Will definitely be there again soon!!! A lot!

It's been years since I've been to Progreso, MX, so that also means it's been years since I've had AUTHENTIC Progreso-style lonches. I had to fill a hole that was in my heart, and Tacos Locos filled it. Your lonches need grease, and Taco's Locos delivers on said grease. The salsa roja was hands down the best salsa to go with the lonches. Go here for your lonche fix! Forget the tourist trap "taqueria" that "everyone" goes to. Go here!

Best place I have ever been to for tacos and burgers

Best street tacos I’ve ever had❤ definitely gonna go again🥇🥇🥇

The Lochecitos, which are basically mini tortas, were great. I did have to take the tomato slices out but next time I know to order without them.

The grilled onions was on point, unlike most places it was not undercooked, it was really brownish but not burnt so it had all the flavor.

The meat was also great, most places seem to precook it and just keep it warm but this one felt fresh and crisp.

All in all great price with the drink included.

First time here, just wanted a snack, had a bistec and barbacoa taco...wow! So much flavor! Best bistec I've had here in the valley. Owner said fajita had even more flavor. Can't wait to go back and try it.

Tacos were delicious and stuffed with bistek unlike other places. Prices are reasonable we had the 4 taco combo 4 tacos with a potato and beans as well as huge lonches filled with bistek! Definitely going by again.

Best tacos in Cameron county! Hands down! Chris Gato is the man! Entrepreneur at its finest. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Leo the Taquero brings that Latin flavor to the food. 👌🏼💪🏼👍🏼🐖
