Prime Bistro Montgomery

We have lived in Montgomery for over 7 years and never knew this place existed since it's a little set back from 105. We're very happy we found it - excellent food. We had the 6oz Filet with mashed potatoes, Chicken Fried Steak with garlic mashed potatoes and the Honey Glazed Brussel sprouts, paired with a Dirty Goose martini and a Caymus Red Blend. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and neither steak had a chewy bite. We finished nicely with the made in house Tiramisu which was perfect.

Highly recommend! Who knew you could get a good steak in Montgomery?! This was our first visit to Prime Bistro and it's great, can't believe we've not been here before. It's very nice on the inside and they have a great menu. I had the 6 oz filet and garlic mash. My hubby had the chicken fried steak with garlic mash and we split the honey roasted brussel sprouts. I had a glass of Caymus and the hubby had dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. We shared tiramisu made in house.

The food was really good and our waitress was helpful! The food is made fresh. My husband was impressed with the chicken fried steak. I choose the half chicken and it was enough for two meals. The brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious but maybe not the healthiest since they were deep-fried (that's ok though... everything in moderation). I would definitely recommend and we will be back 🙂

Probably the best burgers we've had in Montgomery County! We stopped in for lunch after church and were so impressed. The wait staff was attentive, the chairs are super comfy and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband had the Bistro Burger and I had the Bison Burger and they were both outstanding. My husband added the candied bacon to his and mine had bacon jam on it made with the candied bacon and it was SO good! It added a tiny bit of sweet with the salty. Just YUM! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We will definitely be going back this weekend to try out their dinner menu.

WOW is all I can say! We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner here on 12-17-22 and it was simply amazing! The food was stellar!! We all had the bistro salad - so yum with candied pecans, goat cheese and homemade vinaigrette; and a choice of prime filet with garlic mashed potatoes, red snapper with mango salsa or lemon pepper chicken with sautéed veggies. All three offerings were so delectable - one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten! The dessert was a white chocolate bread pudding that was amazing! We had a group of 40 people and this small restaurant pulled off this dinner flawlessly! Melanie was so delightful to work with prior to the event - she provided great assistance to me and was so organized and helpful. The entire staff was so friendly and courteous - that’s rare to find nowadays! I cannot recommend this sweet restaurant enough - go, you will not be disappointed!!

My husband and I had lunch here. We had the Gumbo and stuffed jalapenos. Our entree was the Reuben sandwich . The food was fresh and delicious. Perfect place to go for a nice quiet atmosphere. Mickey our waterless was the best. We will certainly be back for a weekly dinner to enjoy their specials.

We had a birthday dinner at Prime Bistro for our large family or Day weekend. We worked with Laura and Mickey to plan the event, and they were very attentive to all the details. They, along with Tori, were at the restaurant during our event, taking care of us and making us feel very special. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend Prime Bistro - a wonderful local restaurant with great staff and fantastic food! I wouldn't have wanted to have my birthday party anywhere else - They even gave us two dozen roses for our table!

We had filet mignon and brussel sprouts. Steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. Great quality steak, like slicing into butter. The brussel sprouts were pretty amazing too! You definitely have to try them! Nothing like you can get anywhere else! I've been a few times when it was Prime 101, and I'm glad I came back to try Prime Bistro. The bartender and staff were also great! I will definitely be back for sure!

Waitress was awesome. The crab cake was delicious and the steak fingers, my husband said we’re 5 star. I recommend giving them a try.

Our waitress Mikki was very helpful with our food selections. My wife and I had a bottle of white sparkling wine and it was delicious. We would definitely come back again. Overall excellent service and food!

This is a hidden jewel, you have to check-out this restaurant. We had our Conference in Margaretville, we used google to find us a nearby steak restaurant, we ended up at Prime Bistro...OMG the food was outstanding, the ribeye, blackened red snapper, with the corn..OMG. Great restaurant, good service, good food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We found ourselves in Conroe on a Friday evening, and we were looking for a place to eat that wouldn't involve waiting for a table. Prime Bistro was able to sit us promptly at a very comfortable table. The drinks we ordered were reasonably priced and delicious. Our food came out in a reasonable time, and was quite tasty. Overall, we were very pleased with everything about our meal...good food, good service, and at a very reasonable price. I really don't understand why they weren't busier than they were...it's a wonderful restaurant. If we were closer, it would be a regular stop for us. If you're in the Conroe area, you really should give it a try!

1st time trying Prime 101 and it was by far better then any 5 star meal we've ever had. Rachelle did a great job at taking our order for delivery and making sure we enjoyed the experience. Arial was our delivery driver and she was so professional with the handling of our food. Super pleased so thank you for making my husband's Birthday extra special during these difficult times

Great daily specials. We went on Friday for $10 Fish and Chips. Going back on Monday for half priced apps. MiKki was an excellent bartender. Nice atmosphere. Very repeatable.

We ate here Friday night. Micki was our waitress, she did an amazing job! She was great at pairing wine with our meals. we purchased 3 bottles! We understand that they were not prepared for the massive amount of business a review on Nextdoor brought them but under the circumstances service and food was great! Make sure you try the deviled eggs and bread pudding!

Wonderful! The dinner experience was phenomenal! The hostess team were exuberant and personable. Tables were served expediently. The chef displayed great detail in plating and exceptional seasoning throughout all dishes. The dishes were delicious to say the least! A great family experience and date night!
