Great place for breakfast. Friendly service. The food was fantastic.

This is my favorite thing about small towns, the local mom and pop restaurants. I love supporting small businesses. I came here for breakfast after hearing such good things about it. This place was packed for good reason and it did not disappoint. I ordered a simple meal toast, grits, and eggs with an orange juice. When I saw the bowl the grits come in my jaw dropped. It was huge. The portions seem to be decently sized for very cheap prices which I appreciate especially in this day and age. The grits were plain which allowed me to customize how to make them because I am not a sugar grits kinda gal. The eggs were flavored nicely. The toast was crispy. The juice was fresh. The service was great. Everyone was working as a team to ensure all the guests were taken care of properly. Everyone was so nice and really encompassed the true meaning of Southern Hospitality. I left happy with a full belly! I will definitely be back and will be sharing this review on Facebook with my family and friends so they can see for themselves.

When we arrived for breakfast they were right in the middle of the breakfast rush. Our wait to be seated was not long, we were seated within a couple of minutes. Then within a couple of minutes someone came to take our drink order and bring us the menus, and shortly after another person came to take our order. Our orders were served to us alot quicker than I thought they would be considering how busy they were. The food was fresh, hot, and very good. My fiance ordered the western omlet with hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy, he said they were very good. I ordered the strawberry French toast with hashbrowns and sausage patties, it was all good as well. My only complaints would be that there was way too much strawberry juice on the plate with the strawberry French toast and so the French toast became pretty soggy and mushy very quickly. And the table that we were sat at was in between other tables and they were all way too close together, so you are right up against the person sitting behind you at the other tables which is very uncomfortable. We would probably go back to eat, but would go when it isn't as busy so we don't feel like people are sitting on top of us.

I love the hometown-feel type of restaurants. There's just something about them that makes everything feel like home - without the cooking and cleanup. I had the sausage and cheese omelet, add mushrooms with a side of toast. My friend had the western omelet with biscuit and gravy. It was so good. We basically cleaned our plates.

We are visitors from Nashville and stopped in your restaurant for brunch. Food was great, but more than anything, your staff creates an environment of community and makes everyone feel like they are at home. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to making a restaurant that brings people back time and time again. We will share your special place with our friends.

This was our first visit and found it by Google. We are from joining county. The waitress Trista was the best waitress we have ever had. The food was delicious and cooked like we ask. We wiil be back if nothing happens! God Bless them and you!

Our 1st trip and it was awesome!! The wait staff work as a team, the food was delicious and checking out was delightful talking to the waitress. Everyone was a friendly. Definitely going to be a regular customer!!

OMG This place made a major comeback. This new owner and his wife really made this place alive again. I'm so glad I am able to enjoy this place again.

The staff is amazing the cook really knows what great food is. Meat and two for lunch. Try the chicken and rice coverd in the special house caso. Delicious

This is the best little restaurant here in Smithville. The have the best cheese burger and crinkle fries it beats any chain restaurant burgers I have ever have and they have a variety of most anything you would want. It's really home feeling and laid back atmosphere and the people there are nice and very friendly. If you just happen to be passing through and want some down southern home cooked food then this is a must.

The Patty melt is the best burger in Smithville hands down. Oatmeal is great.
