We love to eat at small town restaurants and this one didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly and food was excellent. Was definitely worth the beautiful 20 min drive from Woodbury where we were staying.

Nothing short of amazing food! Don't let some of the simplicity of the menu items fool you, these guys are culinary experts. The chicken and rice soup has a perfectly balanced flavor. Highly recommend the smothered chicken and the catfish supper, wow! And the apple fritter is out of this world! Very good prices also on everything. Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Check them out, you won't be dissapointed!

I had the filet mignon, which was just alright but next time I want to try the Salmon! The baked potato could have been bigger but was thoroughly cooked and yummy. Everything is absolutely fresh not canned or frozen, even down to the butter! I had the option of soup or salad, which I chose the soup. Chicken and rice was great!
The dessert, which is included, was absolutely delicious. It was Strawberry Neopaliton(?), which is a pastry dish, was amazing!
We'll be going back for sure!

This is such a little gem! They are currently closed on Sundays and Mondays, and they don't post their hours on the door. Limited menu but the food is excellent! It's the kind of meat and three that only the locals know about. With so few dining choices in DeKalb County, this is one that you've got to try!

This was absolutely one of the best breakfast we have had at a restaurant! Everything was fresh and homemade, even the biscuit and gravy! The veggie omelette I had was enough for two people! I added the "home fries" which were fabulous! We were just traveling through, and were so glad we stopped... Especially since they are closing and relocating to Smithville after over 20 years at this location! The people were so kind and friendly! I know Liberty will miss this wonderful and rare restaurant!

Great restaurant. Food has always been terrific. Service is excellent. Very quick for a cook-to- order restaurant. Very reasonable with their prices. Hours are odd but worth checking out if you want good food and you're in the area. Just be sure to check the hours before you make the trip

Delicious! Real hometown southern cooking. Lots of locals. Super nice waitress tells us they're closing and opening a new place called Ace of Spades in town. Can't wait to try.

We stopped by for lunch and are glad we did! The food was great and the staff could not have been nicer. We were warmly welcomed, our questions were answered, and we left completely satisfied! Can't wait to see the owner's new location when they open up. I know the food will be just as good!

Absolutely wonderful. Small town, locally owned, and everything the big chain restaurants wish they could be. Steak, catfish, salmon, pastas, mussels tonight and home made deserts. Out in the country in a small town with limited hours, and reservations sometimes required. Do it. You won't be disappointed.

Early mother's day meal to skip the rush... Truly a hidden gem for anyone who is going to or from Smithville. My gal had the catfish that despite me not being a fish lover enjoyed the tender flakes with the crispy batter. She also had the half salad that was twice as big as the typical salad we get at most places we eat at and there was lots of thick cut bacon on it!!!
I had the cheese burger and waffle fries that were seasoned well and a very juicy delightful burger to have. Others in our party that had burgers, salads, and regular fries all were complementary of the freshness and flavor of the food. They had country music playing at a tasteful volume so you could have a conversation without trying to yell over it.
We came at the end of the lunch shift before they closed at 2pm and I definitely look forward to coming back during the dinner as others in the restaurant spoke highly of the dinner menu and especially the BLT soup.... They said it sounds funny but is like eating a BLT with a spoon.
The waitress was personable and pleasant even tho she was staying past their 2pm closing time and the owner/chef or cook (whatever the title) came out and greeted us and even had some funny gags for the 9yr old I'm our party.... I'm sure the adults laughed much more than she did!
The Cloverleaf is without a doubt a new favorite of mine despite being about 45min away. Two thumbs up and wishing I had more thumbs.

For everyone who has not visited this place, .. "Your Loss"... This is by far the best place to eat in middle TN. This is as down home country and the little cafe where all the locals meet for breakfast as you can get.

The place is crazy good and the staff treats you like family. I drive up here from Nashville passing many different restaurants just to eat here.

All I can say is you can read all the reviews you want the real test is to try it for yourself.

BEST STEAK & EGGS FOR BREAKFAST EVER..

Cute mom and pop restaurant. The prices a very affordable and the service has been great every time my family and I have visited. I spoke with the owner, who also works there with his wife, he does the majority of the cooking and told me that most of their menu items are made from scratch. If your'e ever in the area you should visit
