My father eats here all the time. Double burger was juicy and well constructed. Beef was very tasty. Great shoestring fries! BBQ looked good, clean and easy drinks station, OK toilets.

Best Service in town! Loved the patio! Extremely clean dining room and the ladies bathroom was also. I just had the appetizer sampler and included plenty of photos of this hidden gem tucked away! Good surprise in Montgomery. Wife and I stopped in to get some pulled pork sandwiches and some fries. You would not believe how difficult it is to get fries with BBQ, just not a normal pairing I guess... But something my wife has to have. The pulled pork had a good smokey flavor, I got the jalapeno bun which was great as well. Their BBQ sauce was really tasty as well, the spicy version was just that... Spicy, but not overly hot. I threw some jalapenos on top, and it was perfect. Also got the fried jalapenos which were really good. The people working there were extra friendly which was nice as well. We will be back for sure.

I think I have tried every local place's cheeseburger and this was the best of them all without a doubt. The patty was sizable, the veggies fresh and the bun delicious. Cooked to perfection caused you to savor every bite.

Great bang for your buck place. The portions are great when you pick the plates. Some take aways are that the fries felt and tasted old and the potato salad was extremely peppery. But the bbq sauce and meats were delicious.

Beware of a large and wide hangry Latino male. The boy has issues communicating, ordering food and parking his big red Sanford and Son duelly. When angry he takes his frustrations out on customers who do know how to park, communicate and order food. Oh, and the food here is flawless!!!!

Wow. Everything was awesome. The finally added fried okra and they give you a huge pile. I wished they still did the free pinto beans. They stopped because of Covid. Well, Covid is gone. Bring back the free beans. They cost almost nothing and they taste so good. This place is awesome. 2 huge plates of food for 32.00.

We love the McKenzies in Conroe. This was our first time going to the one close to our house in Montgomery.

First time to eat here but was really. I had a two meat platter, ribs & turkey, potato salad, Cole slaw. My wife had a cheeseburger and fries. All really good.
