Super cute coffee shop! Barista was a sweetheart, and lots of delicious options to choose from. My husband was obsessed with his chocolate chip cookie and iced mocha latte!

Cute little coffee shop tucked away at the end of a strip mall. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Ordered a vanilla latte and a cream cheese brownie. My coffee was made to order and served with a heart in the middle. Takes some skill to do that! Good atmosphere, nice assortment of pastries and decent size menu of coffee. Will stop in again if I'm ever in the neighborhood.

Cute little coffee shop, slightly hidden in a strip mall. Delicious baked goods, most are made in house. Friendly service and comfortable seating. Enjoyed a freshly made lavender pistachio scone and a hot coffee today. Will definitely be back!

Cutest gem in North Chase area!! Clean restrooms, and fast tasty service. I added the decor in the pictures, because honestly I felt right at home or at “central perk”. Family owned and just sweet as sugar. A must try and make it your own hometown coffee shop.

The owner is super nice and welcoming! It smells like delicious coffee, and they offer many food options like burritos, bagels, quiche, smoothies, and tea! The decor alone is worth the trip. I will be back!

The best coffee, staff, and management around! This local shop is charming, and I love their coffee! The lattes, shakes, smoothies, and frappes are to die for. Oh, don't forget the home made baked goods and treats, too!

The Lemon Lavender scone is delicious as is the chocolate chip pumpkin muffin. The coffee blend is smooth and flavorful.

Needed a place for a quick rest and some coffee when passing by Wilmington, NC. Found this place by chance (and with the help of Google). Great coffee and lovely staff.

I went through the drive through with my dog, and the nice barista gave my dog a treat. I mentioned that they had nice dog treats (they were soft). She shared that they quit using milk bones because dogs didn't like them as much. The folks are so sweet here, even dogs are taken care of!

I've been going to The Complex Bean for a little over a year and have never had a bad experience. I've tried their hot coffee, iced coffee, and iced lattes and they were all amazing. Their baked goods are incredible as well as their breakfast sandwiches. The baristas are always friendly and helpful, and I've never had a long wait for my order. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the shop is always neat and clean. I think the prices are reasonable for the quality of coffee or food that you get. I'd recommend this shop over a larger chain any day.

A great place to get premium coffee. The owners and staff are always friendly and the coffee is outstanding. The interior decor is clever; rustic and modern. Its a great place to just sit, relax and enjoy the coffee as well as the exceptional pastries and desserts they offer from different areas of the state. Its a refreshing change from the chains and inconsistent local shops. Im glad I moved closer.

Perhaps the best coffee shop in North Wilmington, this place makes incredible drinks, desserts, and other delicacies to delight any palate. The owners and staff are so friendly and caring, and are exceptional baristas in their own right! You simply must give them a try.

My daughter and I stopped by The Complex Bean this morning on the way to work. What a great little coffee shop. They have done a great job making is comfortable and inviting. I had the hot chocolate because I don't drink coffee and the hot chocolate was great. My daughter had the coffee and she really liked it. We also had a cinnamon roll and that was good as well. The staff was very friendly and we will certainly be back.
