Red Hot & Blue Plano

Great late lunch at Red Hot & Blue. The menu offers a wide variety of BBQ. I had the the two meat sampler of Pulled Pork and Sliced Brisket wit mashed potatoes! Delicious!!

I tried all the BBQ sauces on the table, (4) bottles. I liked them all, but the Double Trouble sauce has some kick to it.

We liked how the iced tea was served in small pitchers. That minimizes having to wait on refills.

Also the music and atmosphere was enjoyable too. The restaurant was clean and the paper take cover was good as I spilled some sauce.

I highly recommend the Plano, TX location of Red Hot & Blue. We will visit again.

Was looking for a good place for dinner near my hotel and found this place.

Great food, not busy at all and the staff was very attentive.

It was a great end to an otherwise hectic day.

Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

I’ve been to a Red Hot & Blue in Dallas several times so this was my first trip to this location. I went after lunch so there was no crowd. Jade was my waitress and was prompt for searing me, providing my drink, taking and bringing my order. I ordered the Chipotle Blues Burger and my selection was exceptionally good. I will be back again.

Cute little place. It has a good theme, good music. And the BBQ was really good. Not a fan of the potato salad. However I love that the drinks are brought out in pitchers!!

Excellent example of delicious 'blues food'. The menu is filled with good ole comfort food, and I've never been disappointed. The environment is great with blues related posters, signs, and instruments.

If you're looking for simple and fun outing, alone or with friends, you'll do well by choosing this place.

Delicious brisket. Pulled chicken was a but dry (as our server warned us) but was flavorful & just the right texture. Go with the fried okra, you won't regret it! And they had a small but high quality selection of local craft beers.

First time to go. Food and service was outstanding. We will definitely go back. We all ordered something different. Bbq, catfish, burgers, onion rings. Everyone was pleased with their choice. Clever names for various items.

I don't even know where to begin! Brandon and Michael are the absolute best at this location! Best customer service I've received in so long. Brandon took the time to recognize I was having a hard day and cheered me up instantly with laughter! The food was amazing and fresh. They are dedicated in providing great customer service to those who walked in and very hard working. They worked extremely well as a team. Although busy, never shown one ounce of frustration! Both were always smiling and so sweet. I would recommend this location 100% to anyone!

When we walked in, there was nobody up front as a host/hostess. The gal at the bar shouted over that she'd be with us in just a minute. I noticed a large group in one section, and a few other tables with people, and there were only 2 ladies working the front - one of them was the aforementioned bartender. Anyhow, said bartender seated us, and gave us some time to check out the menu. The other young lady working the dining area came by, took our order, and checked in on us frequently, letting us know when to expect our food, bringing drink refills, etc. Our food came out fairly quickly, despite the large group there, and it was all correct and very good. The service was great, the food was as well, and I wish I knew the names of the 2 ladies working that night (1/29/22) because they were outstanding! You really need to go here, it's well worth the visit.

We’ve been coming to the Plano Red Hot and Blue location for several years for the great food and service. The food has always been good but the service has ramped up! Go see the new managers Michael and Brandon! They’ll take good care of you and serve up some excellent barbecue and sides!

Edit 4/7/2022 - their service is much better now, so this is an unconditional 5 star restaurant.

I should start this review off with a warning - in most circumstances, I'd give this restaurant 4 stars - the food is excellent and a good value, but on most of my visits, service has been slow and they've made a few mistakes with my orders. HOWEVER - they have put up a sign explaining and apologizing for the service limitations, and that combined with their super friendly and personable service makes up for it. I'm confident that this restaurant would be 5 stars for anyone once they've hired more servers and the ones they have get more experience.

Awesome food! I order Uber eats pickup and after waiting for a couple minutes at curbside went inside to pick it up. It took a few minutes for someone to approach us but it was obvious they were short staffed and working hard on a Saturday night. They directed us to a shelf by curbside where we can pick up our orders. Thank you to everyone working tonight. There was an old man who was yelling at these poor workers who were trying their best after he had to wait a while at curbside. He can get wrecked. Be nice to your food service workers during these times!!! Staffing and wait times is not their fault.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Greeted with the best service! Food was excellent. So excited for the new management Brandon and Michael and all they are doing to keep this restaurant going! Nothing better than having people who love what they are doing making your experience super!

Great Smokehouse salad! Very generous with the meats and brisket was sliced thick and extremely tender! Brandon gave us great service and Andrea was very attentive. I’m coming back every week!

We decided, after church, to take our niece from NY to RHB in Plano and SO glad we did! The food was great! Brandon Smith was an amazing server and made sure we got everything we needed. Our niece was overwhelmed by the best southern hospitality and said she wants to go back, when she returns to visit again. Thanks Brandon for taking care of us, thanks RHB for having great staff like Brandon Smith and GM Andrea Smith!!

Surprisingly good! Great service from Ced, happy hour drink prices are REALLY good, all the food was delicious (we had turkey, smoked sausage, and chopped brisket), and their variety of different styles of BBQ sauce really made it great. We mixed the Vinegar & Mild ones together. Only gripe was not having the standard BBQ fixins (chopped onion, pickles, jalapenos). We didn't ask for these, so they may have been available, but we had more than enough food already, so we just let it go. Great dining experience overall, will return!

My wife and I love coming here to eat! The food is delicious and the service is excellent! Come and see Andrea Smith at the Plano location, and let Brandon serve you up some delicious food and cold beverages. You won’t be disappointed!

Great food. Had ribs and catfish, with slaw and ff. And of course banana pudding for dessert.
The Plano location seems to only be open for take out and delivery as of now. When I was there the dining room was closed due to staff shortage. (My visit was week of January 12th 2022).
