Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery - Janeway Tower

There are not enough good things I can say about my first impression of Dr Cadler. He is very personable, confident and knowledgeable. He explains things so well you don't have to ask questions, he answers them before you need to ask. He volunteered to go get a tissue expander in his office to show me what it looks like and feels like. He said I should know what it looks like and feels like since it will be inside me. That impressed me alot. I feel secure with him being my doctor, that is very important to me. He acted like I was his only patient for the day , he was not rushed at all, even though I know he is a busy highly sought after surgeon .

Dr. Runyan is great and made sure that me and my baby felt comfortable. He explained everything in great detail and made sure that he had answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him!

This facility handled everything down to the parking. I will use them whenever necessary.

Office runs efficiently, very minimal wait time. Dr. DeFranzo is great at explaining and making sure you understand. Very patient with questions and does great work.

I recently underwent a surgery that was preformed by Dr. Calder from the plastic surgery department of this hospital. My experience with this Doctor gave me this option of him. He respected me like a family member, and made me feel like I was his only patient and not just another surgery to do. Not only did he hear what I had to say, he listened to what I said, and asked of him. He did not try to talk over my head, but talked on the same level with me so I could, and did understand everything that would be involved in my procedure. He followed up on me afterwards aswell as in recovery, and would call me at home when I had any questions for him. I have had several surgeries in the past from different Doctors, and Dr. Calder is one of a very few left to really care for his patients welfare and outcome. He is very professional in every way, and one of the most polite people In his field of work I've ever met. I'm sure his parents are overwhelmingly proud of their son, and what he has become. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone even my only child.

Wake Forest Hospital is tops, wouldn’t want to be treated anywhere else.

After bringing two wonderful babies into the world, Dr Marks helped me achieve something I could not obtain with diet and exercise alone! A flat tummy! I’m so thankful for the entire Wake forest team. From my Anesthesia Angel, Rose to my NP’s Denise Heller and Kathy Lestrange and my RN Bern, they provided a beautiful, safe, and life changing experience!

Dr Runyon is the absolute best! Took his time with me and my son when addressing questions or concerns. Thank you for that.

Excellent professional care

I found him to be extremely rude and have a horrible bed side manner. I would NOT recommend him to any one at all! He said very mean and hurtful things to me. I was so shocked that a Dr would even say such things to someone. He did nothing helpful for my issues at all. I cried almost the whole ride home from his ways and the things he said. The girl that worked there, was in there with us, even took pause when he said the things he did. I am in need of things to be done but would not ever go back to him ever!

I paid 12,000 for surgery to remove a build up of fluid in my finger and Dr. DeFranzo didn't even take care of the problem. The build up came back within a couple months. At my follow up appointment, I told him that it looked like I cold still see the evidence of the problem in my nail and he said o, no, that will grow back. I called the office to complain about it and they were very rude and said I could make an appointment and pay to see the Dr. again. I sent a letter to the Dr. and to Wake Forest Patient relations and got a call from Wake to let me know they got the letter. No response at all just yes, we got it. I don't recommend this Dr or this practice.
