I absolutely love this place, the food, the atmosphere of a simpler time...The staff is always friendly and courteous and the food is really good...Long live the Archdale Soda Shop!

This place has been in business for a really long time. People may call this place the "slop shop" but for the times I've been there, I haven't had any issues with their food, service or prices. Not many places have decent hot dogs and I really enjoy the ones they make.

Ice cream flavor options are a bit slim but that's okay.

Definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat with really good prices.

Excellent food and service. Drove our 59 Dodge there for choc ice cream, burger, fries, grilled veggie sandwich, coke and fries. Delicious under$20!! Honk your horn for service. Been there since 1948!!!

I hadn't been to the soda shop in a few years. This was the best food I have eaten from a restaurant in forever. So delicious. Thanks for the awesome service.

Curbside service is a plus. You can't go wrong with hotdogs and burgers. There is a reason why they have been around so long.

Archdale Soda Shop is a great place to eat I don't know about anyone else. But to me they have the best hot dogs around and at a great price. I would highly recommend that you give them a try. A small place but been around for a long time.

Wow, it has been many years since I have eaten at this local establishment. If you want a good hot dog and cold tea or soda then this is a place to visit. The fries are hot and if you like homemade chips they offer these as well. Archdale, NC - come visit.

Their food is terrific. Their waitstaff is friendly. Their prices are great.

First time visiting there, and it was late and rainy, so there wasn't a crowd. This is truly a family business, run by siblings. Our waitress was the granddaughter of one of them. The only reason I gave only 4 stars on atmosphere, is that it's a soda shop/diner, not fine dining, but it was a great soda shop! Food was excellent, I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, my daughter had the Philly Chicken sandwich, and we split a huge order of chili cheese fries. And we even had an order of regular fries that were piping hot, and not greasy. The service couldn't have been any better!

This place takes us back in time. My husband came here when he was a teenager so I'm sure. It brings back a lot of memories for him. I love it because it reminds me of. Places in VA. Where I hung out as a teenager. The waiters, cooks, and everyone is so friendly to us and ready to take care of out needs. Best of all the hot dogs are delicious. The other foods are great. We really enjoy going to Archduke Soda Shop.

Great food! Even the buns were toasted, which is a great sign for a restaurant. The food was classic and delicious. Perfect Diner. They also have Cheerwine! The onion rings are fantastic.

We dine'd in and the service was great. I didn't get our waitress name but she was very sweet and attentive which is something I love when eating out. They do offer a to go option too. Everything is very affordable and I love the portion size. I'll be back once my bf comes home from the military.

We ate outside they were very busy. Waitress was very friendly and great at her job. I would have liked my burger hot rather than just barely warm.

Outstanding!! My mom had a hotdog, one of the beat you’ll find, and I had a fried bologna sandwich, fantastic!!! We shared the tot basket, they were star-shaped and cooked to perfection!! Wish I had taken a pic!! Service is excellent and you can’t beat the price!

The food is 💯 better. The inside is 💯 better. It looks fantastic. The employees are nice and friendly. I think there should only be one waitress to wait on one person or group, so you don't have to tip everyone. That gets too expensive.

Roadtrip stop not soda pop.

We blindly chose this place from google maps on our way up i85. We were delighted by the cheesesteak hotdogs(beef). It was a delicious homage to our Philly hometown favorite. Yummy seasoned fries with ranch dip.
