Small, quaint, yet awesome museum! Tons of information throughout your entire visit. The gentleman that was there offered us the opportunity to watch a brief video prior to us looking around. I really liked that! It set the foundation to all we were about to learn. The gift shop had much to offer!

it's just a small little building. but the two ladies running it were very knowledgeable and happy to have visitors to share the history with. they have alot of artifacts found on the battlefield or donated to them.

This museum truly showcases Southern Hospitality. The staff there was incredibly friendly and helpful. The displays have dozens of actual battlefield artifacts. The gift shop has a little bit of everything from novelties to hand-made crafts to a wide collection of fantastic books and maps. An absolutely fitting tribute to our fallen American brethren. Great job on the museum.

Outstanding battlefield with a cemetery, historical markers, a visitor center and houses that were field hospitals. Visitor's center has changing hours, but is worth a stop. Highly recommended.

Well preserved battlefield and historic structures of the era. The museum is worth visiting with exhibits of relics from the Civil War.

The battlefield itself doesn't have much to see, but the museum has an unparalleled relic collection. Best I've seen in North Carolina. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Wonderful museum with very knowledgeable staff. Our 11 year-old loved it. Very good signs along the road showing where different parts of the battle took place. This made for a really nice 1/2 day trip from Raleigh.

This might be one of the smallest "museums" I ever visited but it was packed with the flavor and gave you a deep sense of what war was about during that era. As you followed the road an read the signs marking the battlefield you are taken back by the close proximity of each of the divisions. Jerry the curator was extremely knowledgeable and you could see he enjoyed his position. It was worth the visit. I will post pictures when I return home.
