TRIO COFFEE dba Novel Coffee Roasters

I was there during Columbus Day and they were closing early, so I transitioned to the outdoor seating. It was hot (90 degrees) and sunny and was there a couple hours. I think the owner or manager came to the store to drop some things off, saw me sitting in the outdoor seating alone working on my laptop and just as he was about to close up and leave, he kindly offers me a cold bottle water! I was in town for business and not sure if this was just southern hospitality, but it’s nice to see such kindness. If I am back in town I will definitely come back to the place! Great service!

Great location for coffee drinks! Carlos is super friendly and will help explain and find a great selection. Their drip coffee is actually made by way of a pour over. I drink black coffee and found both the house blend and Ethiopia to have a lot of flavor. So glad I found TRIO COFFEE and plan to be back.

Beautiful place! I just found it this morning and I'm currently sitting here still. The decor is something you would find in New York or Europe and has an amazing urban feel to it, the picture of the drink I posted is their "bourbon maple latte"and it's so good,couldn't taste the bourbon that much. Carlos the owner and employee is more than happy to answer any questions you have about any of the coffee's (matter of fact he's explaining to a customer as I'm sitting here writing this)on their menu which is extensive, they do smart pay if you wanted to pay with your phone.

All the employees are super friendly and love to chat, if you come here regularly they get to know you and call you by name which is awesome and even will remember your order (if you come here enough). Will be coming back again most definitely.

I love supporting family owned businesses, and Trio has definitely earned the support. They are very consistent with the quality of coffee they serve. The staff is very laid back and know what they're doing. Great place to go and hang out with friends, do homework, or just to have a nice cup of coffee.

Came here with my sister to grab some coffee and we ended up purchasing one of their T-shirt’s too. The staff is so friendly, they made conversation with us and were kind enough to let me try their nitro cold brew before my purchase. Would definitely recommend this spot to others!

Love the coffee here. You must try the sweet cream muffin and it is delicious. Great place to meet people for a business meeting or just to relax. The price was reasonable for high end coffee so this one is a win!

We love this place. Quality is better than Starbucks. Only disappointment is that they close at 2 pm. We often want to go in the afternoon, but can't.

Very nice , my oatmilk latte was great , coffee was smooth. Loved that they use the same oatmilk I use at home, it doesn’t have all the oils that others use , which shows they care!! I work close by , will definitely be back!!

Best cortado I’ve ever had. Great coffee shop/roaster. The atmosphere was on point. I love the irony that it’s clearly in an old Starbucks. The cortado was seriously on point and the espresso was smooth as it gets. The drip coffee was also great. Overall the prices seemed high (personal opinion) but on par for all the places around here. Well done Novel!

Great local coffee shop. Must visit if you’re local or from out of town. The house blend is unique and bold. The lavender latte was delicious and made me feel like I was in Maui again. Mocha latte was solid. Didn’t try any food items but the display looked immaculate.

Atmosphere is perfect. Ample places to sit to read or chat.

Signature Burbon Maple Latte, right temperature, not overly sweet and very good flavor. Will try an extra shot of espresso next time as I prefer a stronger coffee flavor. Friendly and informative staff, definitely a place to frequent!

Love this place, everone is so friendly, coffee taste great! Great selection of alternative milk and they have a nice little lunch /breakfast menu. Wifi is great, nice selection of seating too with a few plugs throughout.

Definitely a favorite!

This is my favorite coffee shop for a number of reasons. First, the coffee is amazing! The menu is more limited than a certain chain, but the quality is top notch. The vanilla latte is the perfect blend of richness and smooth sweetness. My daughter loves the kids hot chocolate, which is the perfect temperature to drink right away without being scalded.

Second, the environment here is bright and clean. No dark walls or low lighting; instead, it has a bright, modern look with plenty of natural light. It makes for a very pleasant space to work, write, meet a friend, or relax. Lots of small tables, a few comfy chairs, and plenty of plugs for charging.

Third, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They know many people by name and it feels like an friendly place to be.

If they had a drive thru, it just might be perfection. Even so, this is the best spot in Flower Mound to get a great cup of coffee.

The Bourbon Maple Latte was suggested as a favorite and they didn’t let me down! Service is friendly and fast. A bit quiet so if your looking for a good study place at least in the daytime, this is a great place!

Beautiful coffee!! Really nice place to relax with great coffee, very friendly service and a nice atmosphere. They also have a nice selection of small snacks and cakes, as well as sandwiches. Awesome place 👌

Wonderful shop! Probably one of the best in DFW. It’s too far away for me to visit often but I thoroughly enjoyed this time. The baristas are friendly, Noble coffee roasters rocks, and my cortado was excellent! The environment is very sleek and enjoyable. Can’t praise these guys enough!

Trio has become one of my favorite coffee shops after just one visit, and that's no easy feat. I always love shops that experiment with flavors and push the boundaries a bit, and Trio does exactly that.

I had the Alchemist along with their Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and both were fantastic. I've never had anything quite like the Alchemist, and it was an interesting experience picking apart the different flavors and notes that all played off each other, all while remaining exceptionally crisp and clear. My only disappointment was the salad served with my sandwich- while there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, there wasn't anything particularly good about it either, but that just goes to show how great everything else was.

I'll definitely be coming back here in the future, and I'm waiting earnestly to see what's coming next.
