This place might not look like much if your a tourist. It's small and old-fashioned. If you're a local, you know you never go by appearance. Ya just gotta try it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and love to chat with you. Even when they are busy, they do an incredible job of keeping the wait time short. And then there's the food! I ordered the pulled pork plate with coleslaw and bake beans. It's so yummy-liscious that you'll be wanting to come back many more times! It's a must for some southern experience!

Everything they offer is delicious. The ribs are so tender and perfectly smoked they fall off the bone. Same for the chicken, sausage and brisket.
It is owned and operated by good local folks who really take pride in their food because they care about their customers.!!!

I drove from New Orleans and it was so good that I told my cousins and we riding back up that again for them Ribs... I want an Whole Slab !! May need 2 whole Slab then slap my momma for not telling me about this place. Just playing. She was the one who got me hooked on this place (lol)

We are frequent road trippers from stlouis and love bbq food. We have eaten bbq across the country and I can honestly say this was the best bbq we have EVER had. The brisket is so tender you almost need a spoon the eat it, the chicken is smoked to perfection, and the ribs don't need a drop of bbq sauce. I could go on and on about how good the food was but you should just hop in your car and go find out yourself!

Sunnyhill BBQ is the best! I had to drive about 110 miles but it was worth the drive. Very clean and fast friendly service. I recommend this BBQ resturant to all my friends and family.

Good people and fantastic barbecue.. This place isn't open all the time but if they are, and you happen find yourself there? You Are In Luck~! Seriously Good Barbecue.. Not only the barbecue but the side dishes are off the hook.. You only think you've had good baked beans and potato salad.. I can't quite figure out how they've done it? I've never tasted anything quite like it.. It's defiantly well worth a special trip to give it a try.. You won't be disappointed..

I do my best to make it to Sunnyhill on smoking weekends. Absolutely the best BBQ I've had! Plus, at the holidays you can order deep fried turkey or ham. The ham was amazing!! Great food--including a lush potato salad ( I order two of those..one for each hip), lovely restored interior and a heck of a swell staff.

This is probably my tenth time to eat at Sunnyhill and every time it has been great. A meat lovers dream. I’m not even a big baked beans person but they are really good too. My favorite has to be the ribs. Flat out great.

Favorite BBQ place around!! Ribs are meaty and tender!! The BBQ sauce is so good it’s drinkable! Brisket is awesome.. I always get extra and put on a salad! And the potato salad is sooo yummy!! Open every other weekend!!

Had the pulled pork and brisket. Perfect smoke flavor and tenderness in the meats. Competition quality in my opinion. Keep up the great work!

Only open about two weekends a month but it is delicious! Best BBQ around and sides you actually want to eat! Try the new brisket poboy. It was amazing!

I ate here yesterday and had the half BBQ chicken, baked beans and potato salad. It was excellent and enough for two meals. Get you some.

Ric and crew really know how to make some delicious BBQ in a fun and family friendly environment! Prices, portions and people are on point!!

Only things that would make this place better is drink refills and banana pudding, great food, great service, but the hours of operation vary so check with their sight or give them a call so you dont ride out there for nothing
