Outstanding, pharmacy and staff. The lead pharmacist, Tom is by far the best. His attention to detail, clarity and helpfulness with prescriptions as well as over-the-counter medication’s is so appreciated. Walgreens is fortunate to have him.

We picked up a prescription today. We did not have our insurance information and paid out of pocket. They worked to get us the best price. We appreciate nice people. This is a great place.

*During COVID19* Overall, not a bad experience. All things considered, they actually had a good bit in stock & some nice sales. The cashier was wearing protective gloves & a mask, which helps. I'm sure it's a bit different when it's business as usual but I was thankful they were open, that they had plenty of the items I came in to purchase & all without jacking up their prices.

Called several times a few weeks ago to refill a prescription and never got an answer. Not even the automated line would pick up. Had to contact Walgreens main line. Today, wife has out patient surgery and prescriptions are sent to this Walgreens. Tried calling to see if prescriptions were ready as it’s 30 minutes from hospital, but there was a message that the pharmacy closed early today. So now we have to go back to hospital and have doctor send new prescriptions to Publix.

We mixed up our appointments for covid shots. Thought my appointment was at this location but was mistaken. Asked for. Help with switching appointment and pharmacist assistant was rude. Did not even exchange basic pleasantries. Was not helpful in any way. I acknowledge mistake was fine, however rudeness is not excusable regardless.

I am giving this a two and not a zero because the gentleman that helped me the following day. I went to go pick up a prescription post surgery. I was dismissed and turned away by an older pharmacist who had no interest in customer service. He informed me that my prescription was not in the system. Weird as I previously spoke to my dr. to confirm the prescription had been sent to the correct pharmacy. We had issues earlier in the week so I just wanted to double check. I come to find out the next day after various different phone calls between my dr. office, the pharmacy and surgery center that the prescription had been received and filled 20 mins prior to my arrival the day before. I was turned away with no reason and meet w/ no desire to help a customer solve the issue. They weren't busy either. Here I am 24 hours post surgery without my prescription that was supposed to be picked up day-of. The head pharmacist I presume, Tom, the next day was astonished to hear that the evening worker had turned me away and was super apologetic which had been the only reconciling factor of the ordeal with Walgreens.

The WORST Walgreens pharmacy anywhere! Why have telephones if you are not going to answer them? Why have a pharmacy if you cannot keep it open regularly? BTW, this never happened when Thomas lead the pharmacy team. Only thing that saves this place is the nice sales associates, but certainly not the mgmt. team. Might as well shut it down and stick with just your Boone location that actually has it together. If I didn’t live an hour away from that one I would swap to it, but nearby CVS here I come.

Terrible service, on vacation and the kiddos got sick. Did a tele visit for medications that were called into pharmacy. Unable to get a hold of anyone at the store. Phones were on but no one answered. Drove 30-mins to location to learn that they were closed and awaiting “permission to open”. They did not open, called again today and I was advised that they are so far behind meds the meds may not be ready today either. Since they have not had time to listen to voicemails, the meds are not uploaded in the system and they cannot fill or transfer. Worst experience with a Walgreens.

Never know if they are going to be open. They close on random days because of staff shortage. I get the same scripts at the end of the month, every month. They never have one of them and always delay my pick up because they have to “order” it. I send online request early so they can order. They never do. DO NOT use this place unless a last resort!

They advertise free flu shots. I registered online for a flu shot filled out the same information on a second form. Called to see if they offered the shot for senior citizens but nobody answered the phone. Went the schedule time the next day for the flu shot then they asked me that if I wanted this shot for the seniors and I said yes but they didn't have it in so they said they would call me when it was in. A day or two later they called back and said the shot for seniors was in. I called back and asked about the insurance plan I was on she said yes I ask if the shop was free if I needed my insurance card she said no. So I drove the 12 miles to get the shot when I got there they said they didn't accept that insurance if I wanted the shot anyway it would be $70 I said I thought you said it was free they said it is free but we Bill your insurance. I said that wasn't free. Now I had two days involved 50 miles and I wasn't any further along than if I had never even called them. And the shots weren't free anyway that's false advertising. You pay for your insurance.

Tried to speak to someone to call in two prescriptions but they rudely cut me off and told me to just leave a message. So I have no idea if they gave it or when it will be ready.

We had to go to a pharmacy and this was the closest. We showed up to the location provided and find ourselves lost and confused. The address told us to drive into the woods.

Horrible experience with Tom, the pharmacist. He is rude and a pompous jerk. Refused to help with prescription. Would not recommend.

they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!! WONT EVEN SEND IT TO THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM. ITS MADDENING!!!!!!
