My sons lived downstairs apartment. Whenever it rained. It was always flooding.

Plumbing was horrible. Toilet always backed up.

Laundromat would usually be packed. And residents rarely checked on their clothes. So washer and dryer availability would be difficult at times. Seemed like everyone worked at Sanderson farms.

Laundromat sometimes smelled like chicken fat.
Great thing was convenience store was in walking distance. And a car wash and Laundromat was near by. All you needed was a car.
