Absolutely love this record store and the employees are cool. They’re super fair in pricing and have an amazing Soul / Funk / R&B section which is hard to find in most Dallas record stores. Highly recommend a visit.

This is a very unique place with a ton of classic items from records and dvds to clothing and art. I was just waiting for a neighboring shop to open, so I stopped by. It was a pleasant surprise to be taken back in time with all of the vintage material. I will definitely make my next visit intentional.

Best place ever!! I come here almost every month and always find my favorite records to take home. They also have so many vintage booths with vintage clothing. Went on a Sunday and there was a small band playing, ugh it's my favorite place to be!!

Docs is the must go to record store in Fort Worth. They rotate the stock regularly and have everything for all music tastes. Being an old punk fan I always find good stuff here.

There are also a lots of oddities, music related merch and fun stuff to check out in the seller booths. My wife loves the vintage clothing!!

The real heroes here are the staff. They are all friendly, helpful and know music!! They’re like music superheroes.

Personally, they went above and beyond for me. I’m a disabled person and left my favorite walking stick hanging on a record shelf. I looked for it at home and was bummed I lost it! However the staff came to my rescue and saved it for me. The owner remembered me and made sure I got it back on my next visit!!!

Bonus comment!!! My grandboys love Docs and always ask to “go to the record store”. They love the oddities and always have a great time when Papa is shopping. In fact, my oldest (4 years old) goes straight to Kiss, the Misfits and often leaves with some cool toy or his own records!!

What a brilliant idea...

I've driven by many times, looked hard at the building, noticed all the cars, but never stopped?!

Today I did...

What a treat, especially for this old-timer! Prepare to spend a couple hours here...easy. I'm not kidding, plan ahead. Oh, and massage your facial cheeks prior to entry, as your big time smile will never stop, and you'll soon be reminded of your last Botox treatment.

Fair prices on the records, tapes, CD's, the categories are endless, and all the genres are here for your individual choosing.

As far as the Vintage booths...way too cool, and I could have spent most of my day meandering through them, about 20 or so in all?

Killer music (and loud) while you browse!

I ended up purchasing 3 comedy albums and a blue Pearl Snap shirt!

I'm in trouble here 🤜🤛 see ya next time?

My favorite record store in all of DFW. Terrific selection & prices, and a great staff that make you feel like family. It's been a joy watching Doc's grow from a little storefront shop to this nationally known shop that's so much more than just a record store!

A fun trip to the past starting the moment you walk in the door. It's sensory overload and you instantly feel compelled to walk in all directions at once just to take it all in and not miss a thing. The music selection is like no other. You are sure to find what you are looking for. The vintage booths are full of amazing oldie memorabilia to take home. The only disapointment I had was finding the Teen Wolf cardboard cutout was not for sale. Maybe one day... I'll be ready to take it home with me when it is ;) Stop in, you will be glad you did.

Very cool spot. The selection is outstanding. Most records are graded and all are cataloged which is very impressive considering the amount of vinyl. Im almost positive they take nothing less than VG- though i could be mistaken... I will say everything is slightly overpriced. Even when compared to discogs. This maybe do to they're standards and practices etc. Regardless, this maybe the most fantastic record store I've ever been to. The organization isnt for everyone but worked for me just fine, and thw staff know whats up. I'll be back and gladly pay slightly more for better copies.

Very cool record store! They have a pretty decent selection of old and new vinyl records along with a few booths off to the side with legit retro clothing and some other fun odds and ends.
