La Siesta

One of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in my opinion! The staff is very friendly, attentive and fast! They remember your name and make it a very awesome experience! If you haven’t tried La Siesta yet I highly recommend you do so!

We're visiting from South Carolina and our mother in law took us here. It was very good! The staff was super friendly and nice. The salsa was very good. We ordered guacamole and it was so freah and yummy. We had grilled chicken salad, fresh tacos, and some nachos. Everything was amazing. Wish we were here longer to try other items off the menu.

I ordered the chicken fajitas and they came out sizzling and were really tasty. We also enjoyed the strawberry mango margaritas 😋

Always a good place, reliable menu, friendly and reliable employees. Best Mexican cuisine in town.

There is a reason they are already rated well. Plus their pico de gallo is the best I’ve had maybe ever. Go, eat, thank me later.

Great menu selection of typical dishes plus many I had never heard of before. Friendly service and fair prices made for a good meal.

Everything about this place was great! The food and drinks were delicious. We were seated immediately... no wait time even though the restaurant was very busy. We were greeted by our server as soon as we sat down. Our food and drinks came promptly. We were asked several times if we needed anything else. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back!

Food is always on point and service is aswell. My go to Mexican restaurant by far.

Wow! Best Mexican in Hernando! My husband and I have tried several. Guadalajara was our favorite but not anymore! The Shrimp Adobe is delicious 🤤! And their cheese dip is scrumptious!
We’ve ordered take-out 3 times and it’s ready in 10-15 mins, no mistakes! Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time last night. Even though they were busy, we were seated quickly. Everyone loved their food and our waiter, Gio was very attentive. 10/10

I had Italian lasagna and my husband had a hamburger. The lasagna, while not the best I've ever had was a good B to B+. It came with a nice size salad and garlic knots. For $10.99 it was hard to beat. My husband 's hamburger dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion was very good, according to him. The service was friendly and more than adequate, even though they were very busy(Sunday after morning worship). I would recommend La Siesta as a very good place to eat.

This is a fantastic little hole in the wall. Fast service, and fantastic chorizo. The staff was friendly and the food came fast. Salsa could've been a little spicier. Our waitress was very personable and attentive. I'd highly recommend stopping in if you have a chance to.
