Got me right in gave my kitten shots and diagnosed him same day and provided antibiotics for him to take the next ten day. Awesome staff!

Seen us last minute emergency for our puppy. And was wonderful with her and we were all so grateful to everyone for the great care she received. Well maybe not the puppy who has to take some medicine for a few days but she is going to be fine! Thanks!!

I took my dog Daisy in to a groomer last week and I got a call about an hour later that she was breathing funny and in distress and could I come and pick her up. When I got there a minute later, Daisy could hardly breathe, was gasping for air and her tongue was purple. My husband drove 100mph and we got her to McComb Animal Hospital. While in the car, my precious dog was terrified, struggling to breathe and vomiting blood. We got her to the vet who went straight to work. She had a 109 degree temperature and they feared she was in organ failure. Dr. Genie put her on oxygen, fluids, had her little body covered in ice packs with no hope of Daisy surviving. But, they didn’t give up. They allowed me to stay in the room and help with the oxygen as Daisy seemed to calm down when I was in with her. After about an hour or so, her temperature was down to 103.5 and they were able to take off the ice packs, her oxygen intake improved and her tongue was pink again. They kept her on fluids and after a blood test showed her liver levels were acceptable, we were able to take her home about 3 hours after arriving. Everyone was amazed she came through it. The vet said dogs don’t usually survive after a temperature of 108.
So what happened? While being groomed, the grooming harness around her neck was too tight and had strangled her. It bruised her trachea and she could not breathe which caused her to go into heat stroke.
I have taken Daisy to groomers for 7 years with no problem and she had been to this groomer just a few months ago.
Be aware of how your dog is handled while being groomed. A few minutes longer and Daisy would have surely died.
Daisy is back to normal after a week of steroids and a lot of TLC.
We owe a debt of gratitude to ALL the folks at McComb Animal Hospital.

We were in a financial problem due to medical issues and I was out of work. They understood our situation and were helpful and kind to us. They helped us with our with payment scheduling. They were so sweet and supportive to us and our animals. They will always have my business.

Very nice people that work there. My little dog wasn't nervous and actually let them clip his nails without trying to bite. Good place to bring your pets.

We get excellent service and our pet loves all the love he gets while we are there. Everyone is very knowledgeable and they don’t charge for services you don’t need. I highly recommend this clinic.
