Puerto Nuevo Fresh & Seafood Restaurant

We are sooo thrilled Puerto Nuevo is back in BE. They have been truly missed. Love how the outfitted the interior. Food was delicious (generous portions). Lots of staff on duty. Always kind folks. I think this location is probably better than the old location that had the fire. Welcome Back Puerto Nuevo.

Showed up with a party of 10 including 6 kids. We were sat right away at two adjacent tables. The server Johnny was amazing! He memorized everyone’s order. Loved the salsa bar! The food was quick to come out and the service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great to have an upscale Mexican restaurant with high quality food and excellent service. The server and all the employees were very attentive and customer focused. It's great to see a well managed restaurant in the area with hard working conscientious employees. We will definitely come back.

We were hungry after skiing. As soon as we sat down, they brought chips to us. We appreciate it very much. The food was delicious. Just be careful of the hot plates when they bring them to you. The restaurant was super clean up and tastefully decorated. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

So amazing that Puerto Nuevo is back to Banner Elk! They still have the same great food they had before. They made excellent use of the space and I have great expectations for what is to come!!!

I'm so happy to see them back open! Food was excellent with large portions, staff was super nice, and the new building they're in is very welcoming and relaxing. We come to this area 2 to 3 times a year and it is a guaranteed dinner stop for us each time!

A friend and I stopped in while on a short vacation for takeout. Several staff members and the manager were very attentive, wonderful customer service! They were kind, answered all of our menu questions and had our food ready quickly!! Not to mention the food was delicious… highly recommend!

So happy Puerto Nuevo in Banner Elk is back!!!! The food was fantastic. I love there chips and salsa!!! And our meals were great as before.

So glad they reopened. The remodel looks good and I love the bar. The chips and salsa were just as we remembered. I had the lunch chicken fajitas and they were very good.
