Ballyhoo Coffee Cafe

Just rolling through town looking for coffee and, holy smokes, what a great place we found. Super friendly staff, creative/festive drink menu, and excellent vibe. Wish we had a place like this in my town.

My group got the chestnut praline, the Santa's cookies, and toasted marshmallow. All three were great. Highly recommend checking out this coffee shop!

Wow this place is such a special stop out on 287. The girls are wonderful and the coffee is even better. If you like baked goods, they're sure not to disappoint. I hear there are sandwiches, and salads coming soon. Soon to be the best stop for breakfast lunch and dinner!

It was a treat to meet the owner and listen to her plans to enhance the espresso bar ... definitely looking forward to them. All the treats were fresh and flavorful including the espresso drinks we had. Very much recommend for everyone to experience this special place in Childress.

On our way back to Houston, we stopped here. Although I didn't go inside myself, my mother-in-law thought it was the cutest little place and very clean. The overnight oats were delicious, and the egg muffins were quite filling. The coffee was also good. We were delighted to discover this charming gem on the road. Highly recommended!

This is a really cool place but I would call it a gift shop before a coffee cafe. The place is 75% full of gifts, cool decorations, amazing candles and such.

There is a coffee bar that had a small sitting area. They serve Seattle Best coffees, and a few baked goods. But compared to a full on coffee cafe it's a small affair with a limited selection.

But considering this is in Childress, TX it is an amazing spot. I pass through this city often and will not likely pass it.

I was disappointed they didn't have cold brewed coffee, but they were nice enough to fix me an strong iced coffee which sufficed.

Really nice people and just a well laid out and beautifully decorated place.

Talk about an oasis in the desert! I cannot say enough good things about this quirky little café and store. If you are a coffee snob like me, this is the place for you.

The staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and the coffee is on point! They have everything you could want coffee wise and more. My wife had an strawberry vanilla Italian soda that she said was one of the best she's ever had.

I had a vanilla latte with oat milk (hot) that was skillfully prepared and delicious.

The only thing I cannot review at this time are the baked goods or the gelato; yes, gelato! But I wager they are top quality as well.

If you find yourself going through Childress, TX Ballyhoo is a must stop for you!

Their coffee is fantastic better tasting than Starbucks coffee to me.! The flavors of every syrup is perfect high quality! The Sara is my favorite coffee drink! Hot & cold. Hard working people.! Their shop is lovely. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram and they have amazing sales every so often on lots of items/clothing! A wonderful place to come and chill upstairs or down stairs grab a lil snack too relax or shop around. Very friendly people.

Had the seasonal honey vanilla latte and an Americano. Both were very good. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff. Great shopping! Home stuff, women’s clothing, baby stuff. All the things! It’s a new must stop on our travels to Colorado.

Absolutely lovely spot to grab some coffee, tea, or ice cream. They’re super friendly. Other items are also for sale, preserves, pickled stuff, etc. Very cute store!!!

What a cool little coffee place! I stopped here for some coffee and a break from driving on a road trip from Utah to Houston, TX. I was boring and ordered iced coffee but it was good. Staff was friendly and there was tons of neat stuff for sale in the store. Like tons. I also really love how the space feels... Very well decorated/organized. :)

We stopped on our drive back home to Houston. The coffee was good. I got an iced latte. We got some sweets and overnight oats too. It was also tasty and the store had cute items.

Passing through and stopped at this cute little coffee shop and boy am I glad I did! I ordered the sweater weather coffee and found a luscious soft T-shirt. The gift area is so wonderful to shop in. Decor makes you feel at home. The staff was so friendly and I definitely will be stopping there again!

LOVE!!!!!!! This was the perfect spot to stop at on our long trek home!! Amazing coffee, overnight oats, and the cutest boutique! I even snagged a few Christmas items at 50% OFF!!!
