....want to know what it's like to have a Jamaican mother? Then this is the place for you. It's no frills but they really care about the food and experience. I get the jerk sandwich, with sides and rice comes out as $15. Incredible value, portions are big...and it's so delicious, the mild is hot enough for me. Superb lunch spot, owners make great suggestions, try it now!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, the food was amazing. I got the Chicken Curry, with rice, Mac and Cheese, and plantains. It was so amazing, the chicken was so tender and the Mac and cheese was amazing. The plantains were cooked to perfection. My friends got the oxtail and it was so tender and the flavor was immaculate.

The food is delicious 🤤; my son wanted to try it and he had a wonderful experience. The wings were on point, moist and super duper yummy and the yams 🍠 yay 😁 we were super happy with the yams. Mac & Cheese, very good, wow it was an explosion in his mouth he said. Definitely we will go back; we hope the next time the have the FuFu.

I came in today, first time and let me tell you, it was amazing , I’m seven months pregnant and this baby was kicking the whole time while I ate! Jerk and jive has me and this babies heart! The sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese combination are so delicious, it came with rice and beans and I ordered the dark jerk chicken, finally a place with flavor in it’s food!!!

Let me say this when I saw the pictures, it was of the take oit location, and that it what I was expecting, shocker that is the other location "they have 2" but the restaurant is really nice and upscale. Now on with the food, it was wonderful. Even the pictures show how fresh the salad was and the chicken and rice was great as well. I will be going back amd will be saving room for dessert because the rum cake sounds delicious.

YUMMY is all I can say about the food at Jerk N Jive!!! Best Caribbean food I have ever had in the States. I don't live close to this restaurant but I do know that when I am in the area I will be eating there!!! KUDOS 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Jerk chicken plantains and Mac & cheese I am a happy man. Plantains and Mac and cheese were great. White meat chicken was nice and moist. Sauces were very good

Even though we arrived within the last hour, they had everything except Roti. Its official! Their Jerk spices are just rite. The Coconut shrimp were exceptional. Also, they wrapped the dinners w/saran wrap; kept food warm & no spills. Worth the ride.

Amazing! I was looking for a black owned business to support & a friend in the area recommended Jerk & Jive East location since we were going to be grabbing it to go. I called ahead, received great customer service (Zion I believe answered the phone) The order was ready when we got there I was able to pay quickly. Each meal was individually cling wrapped so none of the juices leaked. It was flavorful & I'd go back often if I lived near by.

His is a hidden GEM!! A real authentic taste of Jamaican cuisine... The food is ALL FRESH, the delicious smell of curry n fresh Coco bread! Yum! The platters weighed like 2lbs the portions are generous and if you haven't been, you should go just for the char grilled PERFECT Jerk chicken... I legit CRAVE IT!

Been 6 weeks since we had good Caribbean food in Miami. This place was so good. We got curry chicken, brown stew, rice and peas, collard greens, plantains, and curry chicken patties. Everything was delicious and fresh. Wish we could bring the whole store home with us to Miami. Yummy!

Only place I go when at work on Frederick. Jerk chicken is definitely my favorite. Always love the vibe there! Ginger sauce is also a great touch. I haven't had that at other spots.

This is without a doubt some of the best food I’ve ever had. I love Jamaican food so I always try restaurants around the area and this one is my fave between MD, VA and WV. The greens make me never wanna eat regular food again!! Haha SOOOO yummy!! Both gentleman working were sweet as can be. The portions are quite large and the food is made quickly and hot. Packaged well. Definitely recommend!!

10/10 would recommend the jerk chicken and curry goat. The collards was so flavorful. The jerk seasoning has so many layers and my chicken was coated. I am so happy I came here, will be back.

Just left both locations of Jive N’ Jerk and thoroughly impressed with the customer service at both! Both locations are super nice and give amazing customer service!! Lavar at the smaller location helped me out with an unusual request with a big smile and then I headed over to the bigger restaurant only to be greeted by the same quality of service from Anjuna and Eddy. I will be back! Thank you :)

This is my first time having the food here and it was pretty good. I am having the curry chicken dinner size so I get 2 sides. I chose collard greens and plantains, the rice or rice and peas you choose don’t count as a side. It has just the right amount of kick to the curry chicken and greens and there is no meat flavoring the greens which is a plus for me. The coco bread is pretty good and I ate it on the way home. The food is very flavorful. The owners know what they are doing. It’s about time we have a good Caribbean restaurant in Frederick. I’ll be back.

From calling for my order to picking up was the so fast .The owner and staff are amazing.When I called the restaurant, the owners wife was so friendly on the phone and explain in details what the restaurant have.THE FOOD WAS SOOO GOOD.I love the Red snapper fish .I wanted it spacy and they made it to taste😊.I Highly recommend this place.The portions is a lot and I couldn’t even finish everything that I ordered and the place is well kept and clean.I will definitely come back.Thanks
