First time diners. My husband and I were greeted by a smiling hostess/waitress. We got there after 5 and got one of the last open tables,; surprised to learn how many people make reservations for dinner here.

We started the special soup - beef and barley and Calamari. For dinner we have the grilled chicken sandwich and filet with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The food was delicious - came out hot and cooked perfectly. Next time we need to try the pizza in the wood fire oven, they looked good and a lot of people come for take out.

Our waiter was friendly. Service started off great but then dropped off a bit as it got more crowded (which is why only 4 stars); not a deterant to not go. It actually makes you engage in conversation longer, something we don't do enough anymore.

As we left we were greeted by the owners who were dining outside, inquiring about the meal. We were more than happy to share our positive experience.

So if you are on the way to Ocean City or live in the shore and haven't been, give it a try.

Another satisfying dinner with my family at Momma Maria's. New menu options; the pan seared Red Snapper with roasted squash was excellent, as were the pizza ordered. The Sweet spicy margarita was the perfect companion for the meal.

Went for Prime Rib night and it was fabulous! Really good herb crusted on outside and perfectly cooked. Not all rib is tender,but this night it melted in my mouth. Perfection. My wife had the pesto crusted pan seared salmon on zoodles instead of pasta (they were happy to accommodate her) and she loved it. Our server was great and they even had a great 70's station playing...so the meal and atmosphere was really great (and so was the Irish coffee) it our go to place for great food!

Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, cozy and for us, is the perfect place to to relax and enjoy a fantastic evening and meal. Good menu to select from - pork chops, short ribs, filet, various specials and more.
Love that there are special weeknight menus and pricing which makes it easier for us to visit more frequently.

This place came highly recommended by an old friend, and I can tell you they didn't disappoint. The short rib and special pizza were great. The rib was perfectly tender and seasoned very well.... Not over seasoned. It's difficult to describe the pizza. It was a nice thin crust with what was clearly very fresh ingredients. The appetizer was the popcorn crab, which doesn't sound like anything I would order, but upon hearing the description, I took a dive. In short, it was multiple chunks of lump crab meat with a paper thin breading with light seasoning and a special dipping sauce, which you didn't have to use, but it was good. This is a return joint, and the staff were very welcoming.

This place never falls short on any front food .. amazing , service … so attentive , personal and friendly . I love the atmosphere of this quaint , community oriented , original restaurant.

We very much enjoyed the food and service. Amber is a fantastic server. The food is phenomenal. We be back to enjoy this fine restaurant. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Hands down great food! Enjoy every bite…every visit! I am a foodie who finds favorites on a menu and go back for them because of novelty…MM’s offers just that for me. The Figgy is an example of great rustic pizza…I get hungry even thinking about it!

Finally have gotten around to eating here, 2 times in the last month. The seafood bucatini is very good. The Caesar salad is nicely dressed with quality anchovies. The included dessert was a small pie that appeared homemade - also wonderful. Came for the weekday Early Bird special, we will be back for the Happy Hour. Eat Local!

Had 2 specials, duck confit appetizer and rack of lamb entree. Both were excellent. We also had two white pizzas which were very good, as well.

The only disappointing thing was the sangria, but I'm sure they'll correct that.

Charmingly friendly atmosphere, as well as delicious! We enjoyed crisp salads and fried calamari. For entrees, the Soft Crab was in season. Very Yummy. We also thought the scallops were grilled nicely and fresh. Being this is a Mediterranean restaurant, I ordered the Mousakka. It was authentic and did not disappoint. We left with doggie bags and skipped the tempting dessert menu. It is a great restaurant not to be missed when in Trappe, Maryland.

Wonderful from beginning to end! The food was perfectly prepared! From the French onion soup to the filet mignon, cooked perfectly, to the chocolate mousse everything was delicious! I had a (3) delicious cocktails called Gold Apricot French Martini. Our waitress Samantha was wonderful! We can't wait to go back and try the pizza!! Also breakfast!

Everyone was so friendly and professional! Loved the atmosphere, food was phenomenal!

This tucked away restaurant is great! The food, service, and atmosphere were A-1 quality. I look forward to going to back again. I ordered shrimp and grits. My absolute favorite dish. There's was yummy 😋

Great food and very nice service.

This is a great go-to fav when going out for dinner, and can't decide what cuisine to have ... they have something for every one. Meal selection is always excellent, wine selection and specialty cocktails curated by the GM Justin are fantastic, and housemade deserts are divine. Place is a real gem!

Hubby and I visited for the first time to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. As Momma Maria's was highly recommended to us by one of my husband's coworkers. We were not disappointed. I loved the casual atmosphere. Our waiter Luke did an awesome job. He was very outgoing, friendly and made us feel comfortable. The food was amazing. We enjoyed everything we had. Thanks for a wonderful and enjoyable evening. We will definitely be coming back!

Great staff! We had a training waitress and a regular waitress and both were very attentive and sweet. The dishes were well proportioned and left us feeling full when we left. My fish (I can't remember the name- similar to Mediterranean rock fish) was perfectly cooked and blended well with the rest of the dish. My wife had sea scallops and they were also perfectly cooked. It's evident that the new owner cares about the quality of food. Good luck and great job! We enjoyed our visit!

The family and I stopped in for some dinner on our way back from Reach The Beach National Cheer competition. At first I was a little hesitant bringing the kids in due to its upscale atmosphere and them being a bit restless from a long weekend and car ride.
They assured me it's no issue and welcomed our family with open arms!

The kids had Pizza and Pasta, the wife and I got the prime rib, which was their first night serving it. Let me tell you, they shouldn't stop!! Absolutely Delicious!

Momma Maria's has a Great Staff. Wonderful Service. Delicious Food and Great Flavors!

I will absolutely be making it a point to come her again when travelling to the shore!
