El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant

Food was delicious and the folks were friendly. I ordered fajitas for two and one of their tamales dishes to go and the food was hot and fresh. Everything was well packaged and came with plenty of chips and dip. I loved the queso dip as well.

I live in Texas and wish I could find a restaurant like this in Texas. It was very clean, well decorated with beautiful hand painted murals all over the restaurant. The food tastes absolutely wonderful. The service was great. I definitely will return to this restaurant everytime I come visit. You definitely would want to try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Ok We had my mother's 82nd birthday gathering at El sombrero Mexican Restaurant in McComb Mississippi. And what a great experience! The staff was a great deal of the reason for my five star rating. The food was REALLY good. This was the overall consensus of the nearly 30 good folks that were in our gathering. We had a great time at El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant. More importantly, My mom was elated! She had a great time. Its been a very log time since I'd seen her smiling and laughing as much as that evening. She expressed to me that. "This was the best birthdays I ever had". It made her statement even more touching because we recently lost my father. Her husband of 50+ years and this was her first birthday without him. I would like to thank all of the good people at El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant for making her special day a great memory for, I hope all that were in attendance. Regards Danny M.

We live in Baton Rouge and got property in McComb about 7 months ago, we went to EVERY Mexican restaurant here and went to El Sombrero last today. It was the BEST service and the BEST food we have had here. Margaritas were on point as well! The atmosphere is amazing too! We are soo impressed with this place and decided that we will be future regulars!!!!

Food was good... and the bartender that was working the whole restaurant... did a good job.

Tacos were great with a really good salsa. Beans had an amazing flavor.

Lousy service because they can't speak English good or understand it. Drinks are off.

They have a lunch buffet during the week from 11-2. It looks good, but we always order from the menu. The virgin daiquiris are quite good. Everything I've had from El Som didn't disappoint. The customer service is extremely good as well. We are frequent customers.

The food was good and not too pricy, but what made me give 5 stars was the waitress. I didn't get her name but she went above and beyond for my 2 daughters, at no cost, and made their night. She deserved every bit of the large tip we gave her and then some!

Always authentic, affordable, and friendly. We love this restaurant. It's been a fixture in our lives for 20 years. Always great food.

I have been to so many mexican restaurants and i believe that this one is definetly is my favorite one so far. The waitress was amazing and paid attention to everything me amd my family said. The food had such good flavor. It was just off the chain.

My Mom and I had a very nice lunch yesterday. The beef chimichunga was very good. We were both very pleased with our meal.

El Sombrero has always been my top pick of Mexican Restaurants in McComb. Their food is awesome and the service is great. Be careful with the buy one get one margaritas. Just because it’s free doesn’t mean you have to drink it, note to self lol!
