Main Street Books

Quaint eclectic bookstore with good variety! Main Street books is a must stop for book lovers! Very friendly and helpful staff. I was enamored with the unique variety of books. We had limited time but I definitely could have spent hours at this lovely store located in downtown Frostburg MD.

One of the cutest bookstores I've seen in a long time. Great book selection and lots of other items that are impossible to ignore. The staff was so pleasant and nice that I wanted to take the whole place (people included) home with me!

Delightful and cozy little bookstore! The workers there are always friendly and helpful, and I’m not sure if it’s there anymore, but a while ago I spotted a fluffy little kitty wandering around and working in the store too, and it was incredibly sweet! The selection of books there is pretty huge too, I’ve even found books in stock there that aren’t even at Books A Million at the mall. The whole store feels very inclusive and comfy, and there’s so many options for all types of readers of any age, I would totally recommend it to anyone!!

This is a well curated book store in a gorgeous building and it's staffed by smart, friendly folks. I look forward to going back on my bike adventures on the GAP trail.

Cutest little bookstore ever! Spent a good bit of time wondering through and didn't feel like I was being watched or rushed. Didn't get the name of the guy behind the desk but he was fun to talk to and as it turns out he had been through our small town! Books are organized but scattered, and not in a messy or confusing way. Just too cute for words.

Fantastic little place. I am trying to support small local businesses more. I special ordered a gift here and they gift wrapped it for free. I also bought some fun stickers. Will you pay more than buying it thru Amazon? Yes, but you will get a unique experience here and the chance to engage with people who love books and reading. Do yourself, and them, a favor. Go inside, browse, and buy something to read. You might just have a transformative experience and make a new acquaintance. What a FANTASTIC bookstore!! A huge variety of titles and a fantastic selection of gifts!! The owners are knowledgeable and put their heart and soul into the business and it shows!!

They are also very involved in the community which is always a HUGE plus when you are finding good places to spend your money!

The owner, Fred, is very pleasant to speak with and very helpful when needed. The store had a great selection of books and a lot of other cute odds and ends that make great gifts. I would recommend this store to anyone!
