Log Canoe Inn

We stayed at Log Canoe Inn in March 2024. It is a lovely inn. Clean and welcoming with a great location to many restaurants and shops. The inn is located right on the water and there is outdoor seating. The parlor area is cozy with coffee and snacks. I would recommend Log Canoe Inn to anyone looking for a nice convenient place to stay in St Michaels.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in July and had a wonderful time. We stayed in Oliver's Gift room, which is upstairs in the main building and looks out onto the harbor. It is large, very clean and has all the amenities we needed. The downstairs parlor is very convenient and loaded with goodies - coffee, tea, cold bottled water & soft drinks, muffins & other snacks, and a small ice maker. The main reason we chose Log Canoe Inn is it's location - right in the middle of everything. Walking long distances is a struggle for my wife, but because we were located so centrally that wasn't a problem. It's a short walk to all the attractions on the water as well as up to Talbot St. and the restaurants and boutique stores there. The icing on the cake for this property was sitting on the private lawn right at the water's edge with a cup of coffee in the morning and glass of wine in the evening. Watching the boats come and go in the harbor and taking in the historic beauty was a great way to start and end each day. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the island bird suite at the log canoe inn and it was perfect. Super clean, with everything you would need. Bed was comfortable, kitchenette was well stocked and the view was amazing. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the sun and watching the beautiful sunrise over the water. Brittney was responsive and kind. The location is perfect, we parked our car and didn’t get in it again until we left. We will stay again!

My husband, dog and I stayed in the Magic Suite and it by far exceeded our expectations! Brittany and John were fantastic and so cordial. The room was cozy, bed was comfy and overall extremely clean! My favorite part was sitting out on the lawn in the Adirondack chair just relaxing and watching the boats come in and out of the marina! Great location, we walked everywhere! Can’t wait to go back again next year!

We loved at stay at the Log Canoe Inn. It is at the heart of St. Michael and walking distance from all the restaurants and shopping. The room was very clear and well presented. The bed and the sheets were super comfortable. Highly recommended!

This is our favorite place to stay, and be, in St. Michael's. The Inn itself is the sweetest place, and care has been taken to make each room so beautiful and special. From the towels to the bed linens to the decor in each room - they were all so carefully thought out and planned. The location is absolutely perfect in relation to the rest of town, and the view of the harbor is to die for and beautiful old tree sits in the yard overlooking the harbor with hammock chairs, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Log Canoe Inn, and the lovely owners, Jon and Brittney.

My wife and I stayed in the Lark Suite. Our room was fantastic, the location was fabulous and the view was spectacular. We were located in walking distance to all the wonderful sights, restaurants and activities that St. Michaels has to offer.

This is a perfect place to stay in Saint Michaels. We had a fun, relaxing weekend in their Lark Suite. It has its own entrance which felt safe and private. The location was perfect for so many reasons: easy walking distance to St. Michaels’ restaurants, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, stores, plus waterfront views of the harbor! We had a lazy Saturday happy hour lounging in the Adirondack chairs on the lawn watching the boats in the harbor under giant sprawling trees. Our suite had all we needed including a fridge for our wine and coffee maker for the mornings. We loved the soft sheets and comfortable bed. Most interesting to us was the tie-in with log canoe sailing. Everywhere we found photos of our room’s namesake and then we learned so much more about these unique sailing vessels at the museum. A good friend knew of our plans and made arrangements with innkeeper Brittany to have us greeted with a lovely display of a bottle of wine. Brittany made it extra special for us. We highly recommend the comfort, convenience, and hospitality of the Log Canoe Inn!

Is a Very good place to stay and Relax. Excellent accommodations and secluded out of the main flow of traffic but convenient to many eateries on foot or by vehicle. 👍

To stay in a quaint eastern bay B and B along the water was great. Everything was clean, neat, the amenities were perfect.
Will definitely use the Log Canoe Inn again

My husband and I stayed in the sunset cottage with our dog. Everything we needed was there (I brought extra pillows, but I like a lot of pillows), it was very clean and even had a working fireplace! We were both steps from town and the water.

We stayed in the "Magic" room for our anniversary weekend and loved it. Perfect size, clean, and well-laid out. Well stocked coffee and tea bar. The front porch had Adirondack chairs where we could sit and watch the marina. Location was wonderful, we were able to walk everywhere and didn't have to use our car once all weekend.

LOVED IT! Great room, the very best location in town. Sat out and looked at the harbor every night as the sun set. Wonderful stay!

I absolutely love staying here. Nice sized clean rooms and very comfortable. Great views of the harbor and conveniently located - walking distance to everything. THE BEST !!!

Cathy made everything perfect for us! Soft sheets, clean room, AC running when we checked in.. great space to hang out and look at the boats going out.

We were in the Magic Suite and absolutely loved it!! So very relaxing and the room, bath and porch were wonderful!! Thank You so much we will be back!

Very nice room in a convenient location. The town is walkable, so once we parked, we never moved our car until we left.

The best location in St Michaels, if you have a boat this is a must stay place, lovely Bayside bungalows. We go every year.

The staff is fabulous. The room was great. The town is terrific, so friendly. We are definitely going to come back.

Everything was as advertised! Very clean, central location and right on the water. We would/will stay here again !
