I love this place for Chinese food. They have the best, Kung pow chicken or beef that I have had. The food is always fresh, and the meat is perfectly tender. The portions are surprisingly very big Making it a great value. I have never dined in, but it looks very nice inside too.

Yea this place is pretty dope, I’m surprised it was a slow Sunday for it. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great! The servers very attentive. The hand towel was a nice touch to an oath the the Asia Pacific. I am upset that I haven’t found this gem a lot sooner. One thing I would recommend to the place is to discard its chair drapes, neon sign, flooring(tile/wood/brick)and taped up menu and hours. But at the same time I kinda don’t want everyone else discovering this place. Highly recommend and share or don’t share it with others.

Update. I went back with my sister this was her first time and my second let’s say she was very pleased. We both were very stuff. Went went in the evening very nice vibe. I must say this was an amazing experience the food was great presentation was nice the restaurant set was beautiful wld love to see it at night the prices are great. Pleasant staff the bathroom was very clean smelled great I will be back. I will do a date night there as well. The cookie with the check out 😋 Hunan beef, general tos chicken was very good and happy family the sauce they serve is delicious. Fried calamari beet tasty

Went here to celebrate my sons graduation. We were so impressed by the atmosphere, I loved the relaxing feel of it. Great food, service, and clean facility. The waiters were nice and friendly. The prices were reasonable and the portions were enormous!! This is a favorite now! the place quickly filled with customers and others picking up take out. It’s in a nice area as well we’re going back and highly recommending it.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing, the music staff atmosphere and food are all so amazing. This place is also very clean which isn't always easy to find. They constantly check on you and give you refills too. The dumplings here are to die for, I typically don't like the vegetable ones but these were perfect and you couldn't taste them in it. The decor is absolutely stunning and I will definitely visit again soon!❤

Our first visit to Modern Asia and on a busy Friday night with a party of 6. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait very long. The waitress was great. We asked for a few adjustments to items on the menu, which she carefully wrote down and restated to confirm. Because they were busy, I was afraid it would take a long time, but it didn't.

Everything was fresh and we were delighted with the flavors. Two people ordered Pho and the bowls were huge. The other dishes were also large with enough for 2 or 3 additional leftover meals. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great place to eat! The food was delicious and filling. Portion sizes were huge! Great value for money. The staff are super nice and the hostess remembered our names when we were leaving.

If you are in Frederick and looking for great Asian food, then you have to go here. It's very good. I'll definitely be going back!

First time here....got the appetizer sampler. Came out almost cold. Ordered Pad Thai and General Tso Chicken. Again, not really hot.....almost room temperature. Pad Thai was ok, not like other Pad Thai's I have had in the past.....not alot of flavor. General Tso Chicken was very bland also--not spicy at all! We might try it again. It was getting REALLY busy when we left.

The best Asian food in Frederick, MD. Possibly the best in the country!
My wife and I have been coming here for awhile and our go to is the Asia Honey Crispy Chicken. It is plenty for the 2 of us with a lot of leftovers! The Chicken Gyoza is the best I’ve ever had (besides being in Japan).

Don't let the standard strip mall fool you. Inside Modern Asia feels like the food they serve! The atmosphere is vibing. The servers are attentive and friendly. The food! Oh, the food was excellent and probs the best Asian in the area. The General Tso Chicken had large chunks of good chicken. The spring rolls were excellent. The plates have alot of food so come hungry! We'll be back!!! Prices are amazing for the quality of food and service!

I absolutely LOVE the General Tso tofu! 😍 And BTW, I'm was never a tofu fan before trying this dish.

This place hits all the check marks. The food is very good. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was more interesting that a lot of other Asian restaurants I have visited. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Highly recommended.

Everything from the service to the food was just perfect. The petitions are huge and the drinks were great. The waitresses were so nice and I had a great time.

From the very beginning, with a steaming hot towel for our hands, I was in love. The 5 star reviews do not lie! Modern Asia has amazing food! I had hot and sour soup, yum yum shrimp, Thai Basil Chicken, and a Great Wall Sunrise. My domestic king had honey roast pork, chicken panang curry, and the French Pear. Every dish/drink was fantastic! I even said at one point, "OK, I'd move to Frederick just to eat here regularly!" 😂😉 The wait staff were incredibly attentive without being suffocating. Drinks were kept filled. Really awesome hole-in-the-wall. We'll be back!

Outstanding food, excellent service, peaceful atmosphere. Definitely a gem for Frederick Asian Cuisine.

This food is definitely some of the best I've had in Frederick for the cost. Prices were excellent and they had an extremely diverse menu. They also have a bar which is a plus, yet I did not get to try any of their drinks. the one thing that would stand out the most to me when going here is the service. They gave you hot towels and free wontons when you first sit down, which is a refreshing and relaxing experience. You can never empty your water glass or run out of rice, free of charge they will refill your rice in the middle of your meal.

One thing to make sure, if you see a coupon online you must bring it in paper for it to be valid.

Overall an amazing experience and definitely worth trying in Frederick. I will be back

This place is one of the best in Frederick for various Asian foods. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and quick. The deals are hard to beat and the atmosphere is like the old school Chinese restaurants where they bring you hot towels and all that good stuff.
They have all sorts of Asian foods Thai, Chinese, Korean, Indian and so forth. This place is awesome and highly recommend it

Amazing! The lunch special is unbeatable. Main dish, rice, soup, and either egg roll or crab Rangoon for about $11. Delish!

Hands down the best Chinese food in frederick! I can not believe I just tried this place for the first time this week. The service and atmosphere are top notch and the food was absolutely amazing! On a Monday they were busy inside and with pick up orders coming in nonstop and I see why. The portions for a lunch special were huge and this is definitely my go to spot for Chinese food! You will not be disappointed.
