Love Love Love Ms Tamia Joy's place! I ordered the Chicken Alfredo (Petite) with a side salad that comes the meal. She had me at the salad. It was so full of flavor, with just the right textures-Yum! The Alfredo did not disappoint, that sauce was made from scratch. Creamy and flavorful! My husband had the Spaghetti with made from scratch meat sauce. He said the sauce tasted fresh, very flavorful. Our granddaughter had the fried chicken and fries. When she bit into it, I could hear the "crunch" that you want to hear from fried chicken. She enjoyed her food as well, lots of flavor is what we have to say! This quaint, inviting, great atmosphere is one for all to enjoy who go! Such a Pleasure, and we are so looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu. We will be back!!

We had the good fortune to find this gem this season on our sojourn from FL to NJ. It’s located in a classic southern house of over a hundred years.. Beautifully appointed with welcoming homey decor. The talented owner chef is as welcoming as the decor. The fare was nothing short of spectacular! I had the Southern fried chicken, a touch of heaven, with Mac and cheese and fries to round out the comfort food theme. It was well worth the cholesterol bump only offset by a marvelous cucumber, tomato and red onion salad. My wife had the novel chicken Alfredo. All exceptional. If you find yourself anywhere near Dunn, NC do not miss Joy!

WOW WOW WOW, I just moved to the area and have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Blown away. I got the chicken Alfredo. AMAZING!! I got the petite portion and as you can see in the picture, even with it half eaten, it's still a huge portion. And even put into a take out box, the presentation of the food was still awesome and it wasn't this saucy mess that I find from getting takeout pasta from other places. My only disappointment with this place is that it isn't open for more days of the week and longer hours. I will definitely be eating here again!

Every time I am in town, I MUST stop at Temia Joys! I also have to make sure that I make room for an appetizer, entrée AND dessert! I can’t even make any recommendations because everything is so good and the hospitality is amazing! ❤

Temia Joy is such a kind soul and cooks AMAZING food. Highly recommend trying this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food! Do yourself a favor and head over to this hidden gem! The Mac and cheese is to die for!! Had the collards and cabbage and it was so delicious and tasty. For dessert we had Moscato cake and oh my!!! This was our first time eating here but will absolutely be back soon and often! Can’t wait to try more!

I have been in and around Dunn all my life and had never ate this quality of (what I like to call) "high class soul food" before. Everything was divine. I ordered the salmon and grits and the grits were the best Ive ever had. No comparison. Please try this restaurant! You will be back. It is that good and has a great atmosphere.

The food was amazing and the service was 10/10. Try the shrimp and grits they will make you slap your mama. The daughter who is picky ate every last bite of her food. Thank you for the amazing arrive.

I normally don’t leave reviews on places but I just have to with this one. Tamia food is so delicious all the time! I have never had any bad experience coming here. She is so welcoming and nice and did I mention her food is delicious!!! I recommend this place to anyone especially travelers if they want real down to earth southern soul food!

Temia is the best chef hands down. Her skills and personality makes her a step above the rest. You cannot go wrong with anything you select on the menu. A few of my favs are the wings, salmon and Alfredo. Her collards/cabbage side dish will have you slapping your mama! Please do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

EVERYTHING from start to finish made this a wonderful experience! The ambiance was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the food was out of this world! Everything was served to my friends and I piping hot and well seasoned. Temia is definitely a woman who is driven and committed to her craft and it shows in the delicious meals and desserts that she offers. She came to our table several times to check on us and wasn’t afraid to be social even in the midst of COVID-19. I’ll definitely be back and am excited to be working with her for my upcoming baby shower!

Felt very homey and welcoming with Excellent service and even better food. Joy served us personally and it was the best service we have received in a long time. I ordered the garlic herb chicken and mac and cheese which was excellent and my husband ordered the hot honey wings. He concluded that it was the best he had ever had.We will be going back for sure!! We recommend you do try it.

One of the best home cooked restaurants in the region. Her baked ziti is to die for. The salads are fresh with homemade dressing. You can't miss with anything on the menu. Kudos! ❤

My first time going there, I saw the open sign lit up. I walked in to nice music, great ambience, good style, a great chef and business owner, and delicious food. The Hot Honey Wings are very tasty, as are the asparagus and baked beans. While it is pricier to purchase, I do believe that the quality of the food matches the price.

The meal we had here was off the charts delicious. Cute. Quaint. Just a happy feeling environment. Courteous and friendly staff. Temia was a pleasure. But, the food topped it all. Every bite of everything we had was delicious. We talked about it from Dunn to Richmond, VA. Wish we lived down there to be "regulars". Thank you Temia, we were over-Joyed!

I just ordered from here on door dash, and I’m always skeptical to order pasta from restaurants, because they are never like homemade. But I took a chance, and I’m glad I did. You can tell the food is made with love and even though i ordered through delivery, the presentation was beautiful. Even the side salad🥺💚 A lot of care is put into this food. I will definitely order from here again. It was excellent.

This business's food is the BEST food in the area! Everything is cooked with love.... I've made it my business to try something different everytime I order & I'm NEVER disappointed! A true southern dinner and every bite is worth the pay! They're generous with the portions and everythinggggg is perfectly seasoned! I suggest the fried chicken with Mac n chz & yams..... Omg!!!!!
