Gambrill Mt. Food Co.

The honest option here the food was terrific and worth the price; everything I tried was perfect, and the bartender was terrific. I gave three stars for the atmosphere because I didn't know why the place was not packed; maybe the parking situation, but this is a beautiful place for date nights and good food. The owner needs to work on getting more people in the door.

Went for Sunday brunch and the food was VERY good. Chicken and waffles tasted delicious. Kids pasta was good as well as the rueben sandwich.
Atmosphere sphere was nice and the staff was helpful and welcoming. Not cheap but the presentation and taste made the expense a little easier to justify.

Brussell Sprout salad is really good.

Fabulous food, the service was really good and the ambiance was fun and light. I went for brunch and had the Corned beef hash which was spectacular, we started with the crab and artichoke dip and the emoji mushroom appetizers, both were great.
Overall a great experience, they had open tables at 11am on a Sunday which is also a plus, the only downside is the price which is a bit higher than most other places in Frederick.

So apparently they just opened their online ordering because my cashier was very surprised, she was like how did you order that? Lol she was very nice and I've had great interactions everytime with the staff here, each time a different person, but all great.

Tried the Bahn mi here for the first time today. Incredibly high quality ingredients. Everything was cooked and seasoned so well and meshed together perfectly. They also have great vegan options here.

If I was to knit pick anything, one time I came in a little late like 730ish and was told I'd have to pay cover for the band playing, but I was starving and I just wanted to get a quick meal and get out and not pay an extra 20 for my gf and myself for a show we weren't gonna stick around for. And things are a bit pricey, like $18 for a sandwich is a lot. So honestly if they knocked the general price of food down like a couple bucks I'd imagine they'd get even more business to make up for it. I would come frequently. But also I don't own a business and inflation is awful so take that with a grain of salt.

Overall expect excellent customer service with people who just make you feel like you've been friends for a hot minute. A good atmosphere and fun concert nights in house. Most importantly great quality food that is incredibly delicious. And can honestly say that having been here a handful of times and trying their brunch, sandwiches, pizza, and some appetizers.

Been to Gambrill Mt. Food Co. about five times now and it’s been great all the way around. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner their dishes are always tasty and leave you waiting to come back to try something else. Particularly this trip we had the goat cheese fritters, bahn mi sandwich, and Brussels sprout salad, and they were all fantastic. We haven’t been there for the live music but I appreciate the emphasis they put in providing entertainment and supporting local artists.

Great addition to downtown Frederick! Many classic dishes but also a variety of other options and incredible vegan options! Friendly staff and overall chill atmosphere. Banh mi sandwich and Paloma Bellini were fabulous.

The place looks very inconspicuous when you walk up, but once inside, feels a bit like a magic room.
The service was excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic, unlike anything I have ever experienced in food to be precise. We met the chef who was trained at a French culinary school in DC. He really incorporated so many different flavors into something artistic and amazing.

Exactly what I needed for a late lunch. Jasmine was prompt to welcome me at the door. It was a drizzly day and some hearty food was in order. I went with the steak and cheese. However, instead of the usual sub or sandwich, they offered the option to pile the deliciousness atop a mountain of fries. It paired perfectly with a local stout from Monocacy Brewing Company. As I was short on time, they were prompt to deliver the food to my table. All around, an awesome experience in a cozy atmosphere. I will certainly be returning and introducing my friends to this gem of Downtown Frederick. Well done, Gambrill!

The hubby and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and after some holiday shopping we decided to pop in last Saturday. We arrived right around noon and was able to be seated immediately. The cocktails on the menu sound good but we opted for a beer. We did try the Gambrill Bloody Mary and it was ok but my favorite is a hard one to measure up to! (You can find that in my other posts.) We started with the mussels. The husband thought the were the best he’s had. I think they tie with my fav. These have just a smidge of spice and have bacon in the broth for a nice smokey flavor. It’s a pricey app but the portion was huge. Definitely enough to share with the family or add a side or salad and would make for a nice lunch for two. Whenever we go to a new place we like to try several things. With two boys at home there’s never leftovers for too long! I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It comes with 3 portions of the chicken, braised greens, and potatoes. The braised greens were excellent so no leftovers but my son got most of the rest and we would order again. We ordered a side of Au Gratin potatoes. If you want a traditional presentation these aren’t it but they have a good flavor and the potatoes were the perfect texture. My husband ordered the steak and fries. He said the steak was good and he finished it with the exception of a piece of fat that the dogs gave two paws up on. The fries were a little salty and those were taken home. We will be going back to try some of the brunch menu.

This was one of the best food experiences I've had in Frederick in some time! The pic is of a brunch item called chorizo hash. It was absolutely delicious. The cook of the potatoes were perfect. The chorizo was super flavourful. The avocado was a nice touch. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Great blend of ingredients. Also, the staff was courteous and quick with refills. The styling of the interior was very nice and rustic brick with rough hewn wood accents. I'd recommend them highly. The prices were a steal compared to the quality and flavor of the dishes and professionalism of the staff. Stop by immediately!

THIS PLACE IS SOMETHING ELSE. Amazing food, and their unique way of making a dish their own is astonishing. I have came back again, and again, and again, and again. Just so I can keep trying all their food! I can't get enough. The quality is great, but the AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU GET IS INSANE. The Reuben was massive. The Monti Cristo was humongous. The steak and cheese was ginormous. I couldn't have been blessed with a better place to eat. The best part about all those dishes, were that they were all taken and created uniquely. If you come here, you're in for a filling, unique, and delicious experience.

I'll be honest this food was delicious and was like next level great food. We even got a crab cake and it was expensive but upon eating it... I mean it was super worth it! Everything was awesome I. Terms of environment... Super brunchy and I can't wIt to come back 🙂

Most amazing bloody mary ever! It is practically a meal by itself. Steak and cheese sub is delicious. Very generous portions. We took home enough of our food for another meal. Extensive beer menu. Can't wait to go back.

Food is it of this world! This is a must try if you stop in Fredrick for a lunch or brunch. My only comment is that it was unclear it was self service for seating. I must have missed a sign but i would hope it was more clear.

Went there with my family from out of town. Had the goat cheese appetizer they were so good melt in your mouth and vegi burger. Family had the french onion soup, crab soup, and Reuben sandwich we all enjoyed our food. Service was refreshing waitress was so sweet and staff was great right there if you needed something. Will be back again.

I went back for dessert it was fabulous.

Came in here specifically to try out their cocktail drinks and we were very impressed. I had the Around The Maple which was an explosion of flavor. Secondly, i had the Autumn Sour and that was tasty as well. Thank you Luke and Sam for preparing these delicious cocktails!
