Capsize OXMD

Fabulous dinner last night. Petite filets - melt in your mouth , au gratin potatoes- crispy on top but creamy inside, wedge salad taken to next level, wild glazed mushrooms- fab, oyster sampler was amazing. Timing of food was perfect. Service- wonderful. Can’t wait to try more!! Great martini w stuffed blue cheese olives🤤

On Memorial Day, my uncle, his cousin, and I stopped by for a late lunch. The restaurant was not busy at all due to the weather. Food was great, scenery was great looking at the water, but I have to say that the service we had was what really made our meal. Hailey was our server and not only did she give great service, but had an amazing personality and kept us laughing. She was the highlight of the meal and we really enjoyed her. Just wanted to pass it along to the management team at Capsize, and to anyone considering eating here, ask for Hailey to be your server.

Evelyn at the host table was very professional. She was cordial, firm, and informative.
Haley was an absolute treat. A great server who has solid answers to all of our questions. Took charge and made us feel accommodated.
Both deserve raises.

Food was fine. Drinks were incredible (painkiller and Paloma). My pregnant wife's virgin strawberry daiquiri was also a slam dunk.

Would gladly come back.

We had dinner here twice on a recent trip to Oxford, and thoroughly enjoyed both days. The menu is varied, food is fresh and perfectly prepared, and the servers are attentive and professional. Cocktails are great, and Tom does a super job at the bar. The view is incredible. Be sure to try the succotash made with edamame, it is amazing!

We had the opportunity to eat at Capsize OXMD last night for the first time since the new steakhouse menu! If you have not been, you are missing out! Everything we had was incredible and cooked to perfection! Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere and A+ Entrees!

Holy moly, what a setting. Fabulous views from the outdoor patio, can’t say as much for inside. Outside we had spicy margs, crab dip, and saw a bald eagle, ospreys, sailboats, kayakers, and a smattering of other wildlife. Would absolutely go back here.

On a quiet rainy evening, restaurant was almost empty. Imagine a warm summer evening with lots of outdoor seating and lovely water views. Service prompt and friendly. Fried green tomatoes a must. Offers half portions on entrees. Brilliant idea avoids wasted food and overeating. Rockfish Imperial rivals its crab cousin. Shrimp/Chicken/Lobster Salad plentiful and tasty. Overall five star experience

What a great spot. Great view. Great food. Good drinks. And, dog friendly to boot. They even have a doggie menu so your pup can snack too

Had a lobster roll and fries it was so good!! Highly recommend it, they have a pet friendly outside area and it's lots of fun to pull up by boat.

We've been here a few times and the food is consistently delicious. Prices are fair, service is good, and the outside dock/seating area is perfection. I've never seen a pet there, but they do seem to be pet friendly and have a separate pet menu. Also, their interior decor is recently updated and very stylishly done, so it would probably be a great place for a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch for someone getting married at one of the local venues.

Great food - the Fish and Ships dish is large but not too large. The crab cakes with peach chutney was very good. The crab dip appetizer was a nice size and delicious. Service was excellent. Thanks!

We had an early lunch there. The crab cakes were pretty good. Almost all crab and a little filler. The crab dip was excellent also. One of our party had the lobster roll and it was excellent too. We were surprised to see that they got 2 lobster rolls instead of just one. The crab and corn chowder was excellent also.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my 6 year old son.

He said that you should get a 5 star review because the food is great, it was served quickly, our waiter Chris is friendly and funny. He also added that the whole vibe is very good, the place is clean and safe. He is definitely coming back again.

Stopped by for lunch, sat outside. Our waiter was awesome. Had the fried green tomatoes which were awesome. The Tuna tacos were delicious. Cannot wait to go back!

We had a great lunch at Capsize - everything was delicious! The location is perfect and service was amazing! Big thanks to Claudia for making our lunch date really special and Kennedy was great as the youngest, most professional hostess we've met!!

Nice clean atmosphere, we dined inside, but we were seated by the windows & could look out over the water. Pleasant wait staff & excellent food, we ordered broiled crab cake & lobster roll with side of ceasar salads & a "Pain Killer" mixed drink.

Always a friendly staff and good food. Great place to hit up when you drop the hook in Oxford.
