We upgraded to a beautiful new gas fireplace insert from a basic builder model we inherited when we bought our home five years ago. It has, along with the new tile wall, transformed our living room. We can’t wait for cooler weather this fall to fire it up with the gorgeous birch logs, and embers. Ron, Mary and their crew were reliable, friendly and easy to communicate with. I've used Ron's for over 10 years. I highly recommend the company. They replaced my old wood burning fireplace after a chimney fire and did an excellent job. It's still as lovely and functional as the day it was installed. So easy to use, with the added bonus of heating the living room on cold nights which keeps the heating bill down. Friendly, reliable staff and skilled technicians. Not cheap but worth the money.

The service was excellent from the start of the process to the very end. The office staff was courteous and helpful. Every time I called needing something every employee that I dealt with was very professional and very easy to do business with I would definitely recommend this company.

Three years ago we had Ron's put in a gas insert, which we love. They helped advise us on the right style, walked us thru the intall process and kept us informed about the shipment. They are on point every January to schedule our annual maintenance and sent the same technicians. They are knowledgeable, polite and clean up after themselves.

These folks installed a wonderfully easy to operate and warm gas fireplace. Their maintenance plan is great. It includes cleaning out the dryer vent which always slips my mind. I would highly recommend them.

Long overdue review but after a neighbor asked for recommendations for their gas fireplace, I immediately thought of Ron’s fireside! We had an issue with our gas fireplace several years ago and had two companies come out and tell us the entire fireplace needed to be replaced, which would have been thousands of dollars. I called Ron’s and spoke with Mary who sent their service guy Jeff out. Not only did they fix the original issue, they serviced everything to make sure it was in proper working order for around $100. Ours is a sealed unit which was installed in the 90’s. They recommended replacing the glass & seal as the seal had broken down over years of wear. I ordered everything through them and they came out to install. While out, Jeff cleaned the entire fireplace to include removing rust on any of the components and painting them back like new, got the blower operational again, as well as added components to make the fireplace appear to have burning embers in the bottom. It was like a brand new fireplace and has been working flawlessly ever since. That was around 8 years ago. Super friendly honest owners and staff who are there to help. They offer solutions for problems with your fireplace, go out of their way to find older parts to support orders systems, and will not try to oversell you unnecessary things. Highly recommend!!

I am so pleased with my new gas fireplace installed by Ron’s Fireside! The employees have been wonderful-especially Mary, Matt and Ron. It was not an easy transition in my 130 year old house but the results are spectacular and I am so happy. I highly recommend this family owned company!

Ron's Fireside has taken great care of me for 11 years. They installed such beautiful, realistic, and warming fire logs, that I have had numerous friends, architects, and builders ask to come see/take pictures of them because someone had visited my house and raved about them. Their annual service arrangement has kept my fire logs worry-free and in perfect operating condition for all these years.

Recently a violent wind tore off the chimney cap that came with my home, and Ron was in immediate communication with me about taking care of the repair. Now I have a much more secured cap, and peace of mind.

The Staff of Ron's Fireside are professional & helpful. I want to thank Mary so much for helping me out last year when we had a Dryer Vent issue. Today her staff Jeff & Brian did a fantastic job cleaning out our dryer vent system. They both were very professional. Jeff did a thorough cleaning of the dryer itself, the venting, made sure that the hose connection was replaced because the other one was damaged. He cleaned the inside of the dryer vent system and Brian did a great job cleaning it from the roof. I highly recommend this company.

Ron's installed two fireplaces for us, one in an addition and one was a retrofit in the old part of our house. The retrofit was not easy and indeed no one else in the area would even talk to us about it. Very happy with the service they provided. They continue to service both fireplaces annually and have kept them working great for 3 years now.

We had Ron and his crew install a new gas fireplace. They replaced our 20 year old model and what an improvement. The demolition was seamless! We had the unit vented through the roof and Matt did an excellent job. Matt also finished the face in tile and we have a wood mantel. Their attention to detail was much appreciated! They left the area spotlessly clean also. Highly recommend Ron’s!

We just built a new custom home in Waterford (Leland, NC) and had Ron's Fireside Shop install our new gas fireplace. We couldn't be more happy with our purchase! Not knowing exactly what we wanted, Mary was extremely helpful in explaining the various gas fireplace options they had in their showroom. The fireplace was installed by John and he did a fabulous job explaining and walking us through how the fireplace works. Having moved to NC from Virginia, I can't believe that we are now excited and hoping for some cold weather this Fall and Winter, so we can start using our beautiful fireplace.
