We had a complete kitchen remodel, new cabinets, appliances and granite countertops. We had several estimates and Kitchen-Tune Up by far was the best choice from a price, quality and choice of options variables. Bill, our design/measurement man, was meticulous with his measurements and offered some great options as far as detail molding, end panels, etc. He did a good job communicating with us as far as the cabinet work. Our only negative experience involved the granite countertops. The workmanship and quality was great, but the lack of communication and time it took from when we picked out our slab to install was extremely frustrating; It was a month! We celebrated Thanksgiving without a functional kitchen. I'm not sure what role Kitchen-Tune Up had, we worked everything through them, except making the appointment to go pick the slab. OVerall my wife and I are very happy with our new kitchen,

We had a fantastic experience working with Kitchen Tune-Up for our cabinet refacing project. They were always on time, easy to communicate with and the workmanship was impeccable. They went above and beyond to make sure our kitchen was perfect (special thanks to Larry!!) We will definitely be using them for future projects!

We had a wonderful experience with Kitchen Tune-up. We are having a house built and we chose a granite from our builder’s samples last year. We have never met Kevin from Kitchen Tune-up before, and he informed our builder that our countertops came in much darker and he thought we might not be happy with them. We are building a coastal home and that dark countertop would not have worked and we might have been stuck with them if Kevin did not intervene. We met with Kevin and not only did he help with countertop selections, but he also informed us to have the fabricator provide us with a layout of our countertops before they were cut. Kevin worked with the fabricator and we now have beautiful countertops. Thank you so much Kevin!

Our old bathroom cabinets were in good shape but we wanted them all converted over to the “quiet close “ system.
Larry and his staff at Kitchen Tune Up provided excellent care and service. My initial phone call inquiring about this kind of work was answered patiently by “Ivey” who even provided possible estimates to me over the phone. Robin Snoots provided the expert installation .
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

After several kitchen quotes from other companies, Kitchen Tune-Up was the best value. Our new kitchen looks great, the products are very good quality and installation was done professionally and on time.

Great job. Looks fantastic and they were able to remove the old countertops without damaging any of the back-splash tiles. Thank goodness, because the back-splash we have is no longer available to order pieces for repairs.

We recently finished a complete kitchen remodel with Kitchen Tune-up. In the end, my wife and I are quite pleased with our new attractive and functional kitchen. Partway through the process, I was not sure it was going to end well, but it did. In fairness to both parties, I decided to list pros and cons about our experience. But first, overall we are happy, and I would recommend them with a little advice.

PROS: (1) Larry did an excellent job of tactfully making suggestions in our design to make it better. (2) Larry arranged and coordinated all subs (even a couple that weren’t included in the contract...perhaps they should’ve been). (3) Larry made sure all problems were promptly corrected to our satisfaction. (4) The quality of the cabinetry and countertop is very good.

CONS: (1) I would not sign the contract again without a couple changes. For example, by contract 90% payment was due with little more than demolition completed. This happened because 50% was required to order the cabinets, and 40% more upon delivery of the cabinets. In our case, there was far more than 10% work left to perform when 90% of the payment was made. (2) Several sub items were not included in the proposal when they should’ve been, in my opinion (IMO), as budget line items. This way we would’ve had a truer picture of the real costs before signing. (3) Completion took twice as long as what was estimated. Again, IMO, the project could have moved faster if the crew worked more than 5 or 6 hours per day.

In summary, the end product is nice...real nice. The pros above are good and outweigh the cons. Read the contract carefully and make sure you can tolerate the deal. If I had done this, most of the cons would’ve never existed. Yes...I would recommend them with suggestions relative to the contract.

I used kitchen tuneup and am very disappointed in their installers and service. They changed my original cabinets I ordered to a lesser cabinet and assured me it was a better cabinet. Which they are not! The cabinets were installed horrific and although they came back several times to correct the issues they still are not what I ordered and paid for and there are still problems. One of the cabinets has a crack in it and they won't replace it. You can see through the bottom of the trim when the light is on. The Designer Larry told me I had granite only to find out I have marble and the installer didn't seal it correctly so the marble stains. This is the worse company, and the owner never came once to see the job his workers did. It took months before I heard from him and still no results. I would NOT recommend them.

I see you responded to my google comment but you still haven't showed any interested in coming to see the work your installers did nor are you replacing the 2 cabinet doors that have a crack in it and see how they put the trim on the cabinets that you can see through them when the light is on. And still 2 draws aren't closing the correct way so HOW CAN YOU SAY YOUR COMPANY DID A GOOD JOB?? I find since you have made no effect to come yourself it just shows YOU DON'T CARE! This is not a man who has pride in his or his installers work!

I used this company a few years ago and they were wonderful and professional. I called them again to do some more work and match cabinets to the existing ones I got from them last time. Evidently the company is now owned by new people and to say that the service provided has changed is an understatement. Not only were the wrong cabinets ordered, evidently this is the only cabinet company in the world that can not put cabinets up level or actually hang cabinet doors straight. They actually left without putting handles on anything and left me with a products with many imperfections. I have tried repeatedly for them to correct their problems, but have now given the task to another contractor. I can honestly say that there was a problem with 100% of the work provided.
