McCutcheon's Apple Products

Great gem in Frederick that sells a wide variety of spreads and jams! They also have a wide variety of apple cider, spices, hot sauce & apple cider vinegar. Staff was extremely friendly.

Great factory store where you can be sure to find nearly every fruit spread you can imagine at reasonable prices. I always know they'll have my apple jelly and we usually find 4 or 5 new things to try, like savory sauces, dressings, condiments, and bake mixes. They also carry a nice selection of kitchen and gift items to round out your shopping experience. Definitely worth stopping to check them out!

Love this store in the still-operating apple processing factory. It's great for gifts. They package nice selections of their jams and other products together in a basket or tin bowls, etc. The store is just fun to poke through and to get apples and cider in season.

If you’re ever in the Frederick area, definitely stop by here! This is a very nice little local place. It’s been around for a very long time and family owned. They make a lot of things on site like their ciders and preserves! The ciders are the absolute best that I’ve ever had. Definitely love their apple butter! You can definitely tell the difference in quality compared to the ingredient-heavy items in grocery stores. Very few ingredients means that I’m a very happy customer! The employees here are very knowledgeable about the products, friendly, and extremely helpful! Support your local businesses!

McCutcheon’s has the best marinara sauce that I have ever tasted. I used to buy it at Whole Foods but they don’t carry it there anymore. I was happy to learn McCutcheon’s has a store in Frederick and have since stocked up.

I got 6 peach/apple/regular ice tea, 1 apple cider, 3 chips, 12 four bean salad, 12 chow chow, 1 large spaghetti sauce, 1 large marinara sauce, 1 spiced peaches, 1 cheese, 2 cherry/strawberry jelly, 6 soda, etc... all added up to almost $200!! But I got so much stuff. The black lady working there was helpful and professional, not friendly though.

I love McCutcheon’s s as they have some great people that work here but the product is amazing! This is our go to place for jams, fruit butters and honey. They have a great selection of items including some local Frederick and Maryland gifts that you can purchase here.

The best Bread & Butter Pickles and Pickled Beets I have ever eaten!!! The jellies are excellent too.

This is a great place to purchase a variety of jellies, preserves, and pickled foods. Their products are carried by a lot of vendors in the area but the prices at the factory store are a little cheaper. They also had apple cider and fresh bottled sodas.

I live well over 150 miles away so I have to order my preserves online and have them delivered. The shipping is incredibly fast. On my last shipment, for the very first time, one jar was broken. A quick call to Amy, followed by a picture of the broken jar, and Amy sent me an email letting me know a replacement jar of preserves was on its way! Great company, fantastic service which is why I’ve been buying from them for years plus the fact that their preserves taste better than any I‘ve found anywhere at any price. Speaking of price, they are incredibly low priced!

I love there apple butter, black raspberry, and cherry cider it was quick service with everything I wanted to get.

This is the only place I will order preserves from. They are delicious!

They have a wide variety of canned (jars) of jams and goodies for the table. We go there for cases of spiced peaches to which my family is addicted....also strawberry, blackberry, and elderberry jams and jellies .

I LOVE this place so much!! I grew up in Frederick with family all over NY. We would take cases and cases of jelly's/jams/butters to all our relatives every year. They were the favorite gifts of the year! I now live in CA and take as many jars as I can fit in my suitcase back with me!

We love all of their products. We've been buying from them about 7yrs or more now. Some of our favorite items are the pickles and jellies. I have some beautiful baskets that they sold, handmade in Africa. Interesting store to visit, cute items like tea towels and pretty glasses. We visit here each time we see family in Maryland.

Cozy little general store with all sorts of unique localized products you won't find anywhere else been around since 1938 who what it is the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the products especially it's a great value! :-)

HANDS DOWN, the best apple products I've ever found in my 64 years of running around the U.S.! My son and I stumbled upon them at Butler Orchards Farm in Damascus MD. Not to be out done, my son started searching and found out that this gorgeous little store is located not even 30 minutes from our home in Damascus, so we went there.......twice so far in the past month.

They are worth the drive and be prepared to have your mind blown with how many delicious products they have!

Awesome selection available - stuff I did not even know McCutcheon made. They even had 4-oz jars of fruit preserves & butters, which are perfect for an "empty nest" household like ours. We would have loved to try the banana preserves, but that one they did NOT have in the 4-oz size. When we buy 8-oz jars of jelly, jam or preserves (of ANY brand) they tend to turn nasty before we finish them, so 8 ounces is just too much.
If you are a fan of Todd's seasonings (we are - especially the cajun seasoning) you can get Todd's seasonings & marinades at the McCutcheon's store in Frederick.
They also sell attractive kitchen tchotchkies like tea towels, needle-felted critters, etc.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The store is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.
If you are going to do tourist stuff or general shopping in Frederick, MD, be sure to include a stop at the McCutcheon's store on your itinerary.
