I booked this for my husband, son and family friend for a weekend and they HAVE NOT STOPPED TALKING about it! Captain Chet--they said you made the trip fun and entertaining. Plus, they caught some good fish. They said the lodge and grounds were amazing and the food-- out of this world.
The guys had the best time, enjoyed the comradery with the Captain and are already planning the next trip. Staff made them feel like family and they can't wait to come back. Kudos and special thanks to Josie for being such a gem when I had to change plans a few times! Definitely recommend this place to visit.

From the moment we stepped in the lodge we were treated like family. The food was absolutely delicious! But the fishing was the story of the weekend… my 8 year old is still talking about our trip almost a year later. Capt. Kevin was top notch and so patient with our little guy!

If you’re considering taking your little ones for a fishing trip Bourgeois’ is the place!! We can’t wait to come back!

This was such a wonderful place. My Husband, son, and I spend 2 day at this place. Our guide Chet was the best. He knew the water and fishing spots, made sure he put us on the fish, and kept us laughing the whole time. All of the staff was friendly and made sure we were good and comfortable. Place was clean and the food was more than excellent. My son absolutely loved all the meals. Can’t wait to go back.

Bourgeois Fishing Charters and their lodge were amazing. My friend and I stayed two nights at the lodge, and it did not disappoint. Between the authentic decor, wonderfully kind staff, and delicious meals, we had nothing to ever ask for there. We fished the second day with Capt. Kevin and caught a limit of redfish, three flounder, multiple black drum and tons of decent fish in between. As a fellow owner of a charter business, their professionalism and hospitality were excellent. I will definitely return here and highly recommend! Thank y’all again for having us!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! We loved every single minute of our stay! On the first day, we arrived late due to traffic and they waited for us for dinner the first night, which was so, so good! Their chef, Wendy, is truly so talented and a wonderful cook! I have never had Cajun food this amazing in all of my life. Every meal kept getting better and better! The morning of our trip, Capt. Josh met us at our breakfast table and after that we were off. He was so good with our boys! Patient and answered every question they had and kept them catching fish our entire trip! Once we got back to the dock, while Capt. Josh cleaned our fish, Capt. Bobby told us all the stories! Joanie gave me a tour of the upstairs and told us about the re-build from the hurricane. I spent a long time talking to Wendy, Joanie & Johnnie while the boys played pool after our trip. It was so relaxing and family friendly. We cannot wait to come back! To say they know what they doing here, is an understatement!

We always love our trips to Bourgeois!! The people, the food, the fishing, and the lodging is ALWAYS top notch! We have been once a year for the past few years, and plan to continue returning each year.

My wife and I had such a pleasant experience with Capt Kevin from Bourgeois charters. He explained and answered all of our questions while guiding us to the best spots that could be had for fish. Although not guaranteed, we caught a table full of trout and red fish. The experience of sport fishing the other sizes and breeds of fish was such an enjoyable time and downright fun. You can't go wrong with this charter company, and if you can get on Capt Kevin's schedule you will have a great time!!

This place is amazing. We had a wonderful time and now my husband and his friends make it a yearly trip. You won’t be disappointed.

We just finished up our trip to Bourgeois Charters and we had a great time. All of their staff was very nice and friendly to us and the food was great and our group really enjoyed our time at their lodge. Our fishing guide was very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and put us all on fish even with adverse weather conditions. Can’t wait to go back as they treat you like family.

Had a group of 4 from Texas come visit, all connected to the fishing business. We fished with Josh for 2 days and had a great time. He was easy going and let us do our thing. We caught plenty of fish and really enjoyed getting away from the daily grind in Texas. The food was prepared by Gina and her team, it was all excellent and we ate until we we couldnt fit any more. Josie did a great job organizing everything and the whole thing went very smooth. Everyone at this operation was very easy going and had great sense of humor. Big ups to the whole crew for showing us a great time and we will be back!

No exaggeration it was none stop speckled trout to the point I could hardly get photos, if you haven't booked with Capt Kevin I highly suggest you request for him to guide you. He knows his stuff and was an awesome person all around and had a very clean boat I will definitely be coming back and requesting him. It was definitely a memorable experience for my wife and I. Id give them a 100 stars if i could.

We had an awesome time at Bourgeois Fishing!! The food was wonderful and Ms. Gina the Chef, was the best ever! She made every meal special and delicious! Even helped with the celebration of the engagement of our 2 friends at the plantation by baking them a cake!! Capt. Darren was great too! Even though hurricane Sally made it especially challenging, we still brought in some fish! Love love this place and the people!

Holy Smokes! What a blast. We spent four nights and three days fishing at this amazing lodge. Guide Kevin was amazing. He put us on the fish every day and we limited out two out of the three days. Caught really nice Reds, Sheepshead, Black Drum and flounder! He also had a great sense of humor!
The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all amazing! And the staff was as friendly as can be. We will be back.

Planned a short notice fishing trip and Cpt. Chet did not disappoint! They went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. I’ve gone on many fishing trips all over the U.S. and this one was my favorite thanks to the boat Cpt!

An experience to remember forever! Beautiful landscape, great airplane ride and amazing guides for fishing. Capt. Lane and Capt. Pat were the best, very attentive and fun to be around.

Awesome trip. Staff was hospitable, lodging was rustic but comfortable. Common area had games and activities, pool table, etc... Captain Wayne put us in right spot for sure! Our boat caught more fish than we could fit in the cooler. Lots of specks and red! 83 fish kept!!! One of the best fishing trips I've been on. Definitely recommend!

We recently experienced the exceptional customer focus of the personnel at Bourgeois. We have fished with them on numerous occasions and have enjoyed the amazing fishing, accommodations and professionalism. Unfortunately, our latest return visit was scuttled by severe weather. Importantly, Josie contacted us in advance of our travel from North Carolina and encouraged us to reschedule or cancel because the fishing was compromised by the weather. She certainly didn't have to reach out to us like that; however, it was a good indicator of how they put the customer first. We greatly appreciate a business that looks out for us like that and will continue to book additional trips in the future.

We absolutely love enjoying a thoughtless time of fishing and relaxation with each visit to Bourgeois! Every detail is always accounted for: hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, and great food! The staff is thoughtful to arrange special request and ensure each visit is unique and memorable. We love going "catching" and not just "fishing" with the professional charter captains, of course our favorite is Capt. Kevin! He is sure to put you on the big ones and fill your cooler! We cannot wait to return!
