Rock City’s Big Rock Grill

Service was great and food was great, my husband got a burger and it was wonderful. I got chicken tenders, and it was extremely convenient and decently priced for being inside Rock City the only thing that I would like is a bigger menu, your options are basically hot dog chicken tenders or hamburger. But if you want a bigger menu you have to walk 20 minutes through the trail to get to the cafe and it was 90° and had the feel of over 100 and both my husband and I were too hungry and decided to go ahead and eat at the grill first. We definitely don't regret it and next time we will go ahead and plan to make it to the cafe and try it!

Loved it! Yes, the wait was a little bit longer than expected but the food was totally worth it. Pretty much restaurant style burgers!

If you are planning a visit to Rock Coty, definitely stop in at the grill for lunch. The staff here is super friendly. We walked in right as they opened for the day and were greeted immediately. I was surprised at how fast our order was ready, considering we are a family of 5. The food is good, not like other quick service places at tourist attractions. I recommend the Philly cheese steak sandwich, soooo good. The atmosphere is really cool because there is a huge boulder in the middle of the dining room.

Great food and the portions were very decent sized. I couldn't finish mine because there was so much. You get your money's worth eating here and it was very fast service.

Delicious!!! It was a little bit crowded by the time we went there, so we had to wait a few more minutes than we rather to, but the burgers were amazing!

There was a raining spell while there & they had heavy white panels on structure so u can come in get something to eat & drink and warm up.

Very thankful for them on that day!
I'm sure they're much better on sunny days!

Worth a stop if you're visiting Rock City. The family and I had lunch here after we walked through Rock City great service and the food was excellent the wait wasn't too long but worth it.

A vegetarian diamond in the rough! Younger staff but very kind and understanding of our situation with small kids. It was almost closing time I think but he still got our dinner going which I thought was super sweet. We are vegetarians (kids involuntarily 😜) and we got 2 black bean burgers to start, one each for the kids. It was fried to a crisp, delicious actually and more so with all the fixings. I had the leftovers of kids burgers and was left wanting more so went back to get one more to go. My kids (2 and 4) had such an amazing time at this restaurant after a late afternoon visit to the Rock City Gardens. They recalled and spoke of their experience at this place more than the gardens lol. They ran around in circles around the Big Rock while waiting for their food. Really cool place. Great insta or fBook photo ops!

Loved that there was a giant rock formation that they built the restaurant around. Simple food menu...kinda pricy.

The Big Rock Grill has a limited menu. The price of sale was fair. The food came fast.

Friendly staff, quick service, very clean. Food was delicious and the burger and fries combo was the perfect size for a big lunch.

I got the classic American burger and my wife got the steak and cheese on toast. They were both great and the staff is very friendly.
