So I’ll start by saying that I’ve always been overcharged for every automotive repair I’ve ever had, but I had a big sigh of relief when I randomly broke my exterior door handle on my single cab Toyota the other day, and I called up the owner Marcus and he had me in the next day. Marcus is one of the most professional and kind business owners I’ve ever met. Him and Terry had me fixed up in a timely manner and he didn’t overcharge me and now I can get into my truck again without getting in on the passenger’s side. 😂 They’ve also done my oil change and had me in and out for that as well. Definitely recommend this shop in the heart of Covington. Not to mention, there’s a beautiful shop dog, Bella who’s the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. Who doesn’t love petting a sweet dog while they wait on repairs? Gearheadz will be getting my business for all my future automotive repair and maintenance needs.

Great place to bring your vehicle, Marcus was awesome and his mechanic didn’t worry about having to put a little extra work in to get a proper diagnostic read. Reasonable and affordable, these are MY mechanics now. I suggest you have them as yours too.

Let me set the scene for you: my husband and I were passing through town, 6 out of 10 hours through a road trip, and our car won’t start. It was essentially 5pm on a Friday, so we were preparing to have all of our travel plans upended, when I realize we were walking distance to a shop called Gearheadz, and they weren’t set to close for a few minutes yet. Out of the goodness of their hearts, Marcus and Terry decided that they would be willing to help us out, even though their shop was effectively closed. After the tow truck brought our car in, they were able to diagnose our issue no problem, fix it, and all the while treated us with kindness and positivity, even though we were the strangers making their week longer. We were able to finish our trip with no other issues, and could not have been in better hands than at Gearheadz! Don’t hesitate to give them your business, and say hi to their shop dog, Bella, while you’re at it.

I dropped my truck off to have the rear head rebuilt they did it in a timely manner and for a reasonable price and on top of that the truck is driving way better than it was before.

Had an electrical problem with my tundra. Got some good advice on what repairs it would need soon. Thanks definitely will use them again in the future!!!

I needed a transmission for my sons car (2014 Mitsubishi Mirage). Out of all the shops I called, Marcus was the only one that kept his word and gave me a call back. He provided a quote, ordered the part and gave a time frame. As promised, the work was completed in a timely manner and there were no issues from start to finish. He was professional, took time to explain things in detail and very helpful. My son and I are very happy and will gladly use his services as needed in the future. Thank you Marcus!

Good shop. Seems fair on pricing and got my vehicle back to me fast. They have actually worked on several of my vehicles and I've had no issue.

This shop is absolutely amazing. We had to have our transmission valve body replaced on our Subaru Forester and they quoted us A GRAND less than the dealership did, with the same warranty. They’re the only shop in the area that would even be willing to work on our Subaru transmission. Not only was the customer service fantastic, they completed the work in less than 24 hours. Will absolutely be coming back here if we ever need to.

I had my tundra repaired here not knowing exactly what to expect what the issues were. They diagnosed it and was able to track the part that I needed from there venders the next day all while keeping me informed through out the process of my repair. Great customer service and very rapid service was my experience. 👍

Wow. This place was so amazing. Owner was amazing and responsive. I got my engine changed on my 1991 Acura integra and let me tell you, these guys are the only people ever touching my car again. They treated her with the same care I would. I couldn’t recommend this place more seriously!

Marcus and Kevin absolutely hands down tackled my wheel problem and at a great price ! Make sure you use this place , had 4 other shops turn me down in Covington and road into gear heads last option and he had me fixed and out the door in 30 mins ! Will always be my first option for now for any automotive needs!

I was stressing to get my starter fixed because I am not from Georgia and I had to make it to work tomorrow. Not only did they get my car fixed same day with a lot full of cars, they were great with their communication and stayed after closing time to ensure I was able to pick it up same day. This shop is going to be the only shop I use for any of my cars. I went into pepboys and they said I needed a whole new engine and they weren’t able to do it so after calling several places Gearhead told me they can fix my car. They picked up my car the very next day and got to work right away. The communication was excellent, they called me when they were going for my car they called me when they figured out what was wrong with my car and he gave me prices and time frames that were perfect in every way. Turns out what pepboys told me was wrong with my car wasn’t the actual problem. They were able to fix my car right away and saved me so much money. They are very professional and friendly. They took great car of my car. I appreciate them truly.

This is the only place I go for any services and repairs I need on my car. I would recommend them to anyone. Marcus and his team are always professional and polite!

I Highly recommend them. Amazing customer service. My car broke down and I was in a panic to get it fixed in time to get my girls from school. I brought it to them and it was fixed and ready to go in just a few hours..

Marcus went out of his way to help us when our truck broke down while traveling. He did a fantastic job and got our truck running quickly and efficiently, so we could get back on the road with only a minor delay. All of this was done at a very fair price. Phenomenal customer service, I would reccomend this place to everyone who needs their vehicle fixed.
