They are simply AMAZING!!! My check engine light came on and my ladybug (Volkswagen Beetle) was hiccuping. She needed an Engine Control Module! They fixed my baby!!!

The front desk employee will work with you if you are told that your vehicle needs a new engine; I was told up front all the details; yes, all the reviews that say that this place takes longer than a month to do certain repairs are absolutely true; however, the people that work here and the friends they know next door at the Transmission Repair Shop and the Local Tow Truck Driver are all in a large family together and shall work with you, if you let them; you will neeed to have a ton of money and a ton of patience if you are getting expensive repairs that have a delay to them; you can have an invoice sent to you via electronic mail; all you have to do is be polite and ask nicely for an updated invoice for the repairs; they shall work with you on the costs and how soon you are able to pay the costs up front; Five out of Five Stars; if you think you are not receiving the timely communication that you desire, then just email and call them until you get the results that were desired.

My tail lights weren't working on my 1998 Jeep Wrangler and I had other electrical issues. They had to redo my entire wiring system in my electrical system. They also replaced my tail light, installed a new radio and completed all this which was very time consuming for them I'm sure but they did it all in a couple of days. We just moved to Covington and this place was right up the street. I can tell you this, they are honest, friendly and very professional. You won't do better than having your car repaired here. I needed my windshield and door trim replaced. They ordered the right pieces and switched them out. Now my truck looks like new! After a couple weeks of driving slow so my trim wouldn't fly off I can finally do the speed limit!!! Thank y'all so much

I was having trouble with my Check Engine Light coming on. Got different answers as to what the trouble was. Took it to one shop who found the problem, but said they couldn't fix it, referred me to the dealer. As a AAA member I called Golden Rule, took it in. They ran a diagnostics test, found the problem and fixed it. And it was something so simple as a loose connection on a hose. Boom, fixed. My car is finally running like it should. I am a happy camper! The employees are friendly and helpful, and I even enjoyed talking to other customers while waiting. Will definitely be returning.

Very nice, were very thorough. I had a fuse problem,and before releasing the car they made sure to show me where the fuse box was and which fuse had blown, so I could replace it if the fuse blew again. Plus they gave me a spare fuse just in case, so if it did blow, I could drive it back to the shop. Can't beat that kind of service and professionalism. They also give 10% off to AAA. Would highly recommend.

Great family owned business had a flat tire was in and out in no time. Price of tire was very reasonable. The shop is very clean and the ladies in the front office were nice, professional and personable.

This is the third vehicle I had work on done by this shop. If I get a hundred more vehicles, thats how many more of my vehicles these guys would work on. Did an excellent job on my 93 Geo metro and my 650 horse 93 mustang. It had been 6 years since they last worked on a vehicle of mine and even after all that time, they were th FIRST ones i came to. These guys deserve ten stars. If you live on the east side of town, you wrong if you ain't coming here. Elaine, Greg, especially Billy...all beyond 1000% professional. And their prices are second to NONE!!! I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

My niece and I were driving home from Conyers back to Greensboro last Saturday afternoon when we noticed her rear passenger side window was open. We were unable to get it to close and so we stopped at Golden Rule. The technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to diagnosis the problem and repair it to the point where we were able to drive home (a part had to be ordered to fully repair the window).

They were fair and honest in the cost involved and even had someone take us to a restaurant so we could have lunch while they fixed the vehicle.

Certainly, above and beyond.

I was in Covington from out of town (i live 200 miles away) when I had an issue with my brakes. I was annoyed, frustrated, and scared of what it would cost me but thanks to Golden Rule I was able to get in and out of the shop that same day without the repairs costing me an arm and a leg! Thank you guys so much for being so helpful and for treating me so kind!

I love Golden Rule Automotive. My service manager for the last 2 years has been Carl Pierre-Lewis and he is OUTSTANDING! Great guy, straight shooter and I trust him with my vehicles. I value Carl's advice & when I recently was about to purchase a used 2007 Prius I drove 40 minutes to Golden Rule because I trust his word. The car checked out and I love it. Just one example of the great satisfaction I have as a customer of Golden Rule. I highly recommend Golden Rule.

One of the best Automotive Repair shops in Covington. Fast and friendly service. Elaine has the best customer service! I would recommend you give them a try for all you car care needs.

My recent repair was done fast and affordable. They diagnosed the problem a couple months ago, but I wasn’t able to afford the full repair. They offered me a temporary fix which got me by for the 7 weeks I needed to save up for the repair. They are very professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

Always great work! Staff treat you respectfully and work you in as soon as possible. They have worked on the families vehicles over many years!

I have been with golden rule for over 5 years now, and it's always expert service with the family touch. It is fairly priced for the services rendered. Would not find a better service in Atlanta metro

Had to stop in to fix a flat tire and the staff here was wonderful and caring. The front desk is helpful and the service was speedy, I would recommend this auto shop highly.

Great service! Very friendly. Pulled in off the highway with my exhaust dragging they were very busy but they looked at it right away. Went above and beyond to repair it and get me on my way

My car broke down about 7 hours into a 12-hr drive in Covington, Ga., and AAA brought my car to Golden Rule (this was late at night, so I had to go to a hotel and wait for the next morning for them to start work on it. By 9am, the garage staff had learned that my engine needed to be completely replaced (totaling the car), and I was stuck 5 hours away from my home. Paul and the rest of the crew were incredibly generous to me while I was figuring out how to get my car and myself back to my hometown the cheapest way available. Paul gave me his opinion and his sympathies, and didn't charge for the crew looking over my car and putting multiple quarts of oil in it to see if that was where the problem was. I am in total gratitude to Golden Rule Automotive for their hospitality and generosity

Alternator died on the way from airport to Aiken SC AAA pulled us in at 5 AM. we were back on the road at 10 great job, lovely people.
