If there was a way to give 10 stars I would! I love small mom and pop spots.and this is definitely a great one! They offer an amazing small buffet as well as a menu to order from. It's not a lot of seats but it's enough to get in eat and go. The sweet tea is truly southern with plenty of sugar just the way it should be! The peach cobbler is so good a guy bought an entire pan of it while I was here. It's a spot I will happily make the drive to come back to.

We love Pete's on the weekend. Their breakfast is delicious, and so is their hot bar. I don't mind sleeping in a little so we can get there around 10:30. The kids like getting breakfast and the parents like getting lunch. It's so reasonably priced and includes a drink.

This is a very small hidden secret. Their fried chicken tasted almost exactly like my grandmas fried chicken. The Mac and cheese was incredible. The only thing that i didn’t like which is just a preference was the cabbage was sweeter than I’m used to but everything was still amazing.

My first time going and I found the food very good, loved the cabbage.

Great prices and friendly staff

I grew up near Gibsonville and went to Pete’s periodically as a kid but it’s been a couple decades since I’ve been back having moved towards Charlotte. The interior has changed a little but the food was awesome! I got the country style steak, mash potatoes, and mac-n-cheese. I’ll be back the next time I’m in the area.

Everything was great except that one lady who just seem to be uncomfortable with our presence. She didn't even want to take our money at the register and she had no problem expressing how she felt. I will continue to go back until she gets used to being around us natives. 😙 Otherwise all others treated us well ❤

The food is so good,for breakfast and lunch

Outstanding country-style food in a Cafeteria setting. The fried chicken 🍗 was very good. Along with white shoepeg corn and black-eyed peas. And cream potatoes and gravy and a biscuit either a glass of sweet tea. The waitress was very nice and helpful in making the selection of great food. Stop by and give them a try.

Food was very good with a great selection at very reasonable prices. Service was fantastic. Wish they were open for dinner. I would eat here every night.

Best place ever for breakfast hands down pork tenderloin biscuits

Outstanding food and service. Came in for late breakfast and when I switched to late lunch they reserved the table for me while I went through the lunch line. Picked the beef tips (with guidance), cabbage and greens and a nice piece of apple cobbler. Nothing fancy but very tasty.

The baked chicken, mac and cheese, and green beans were very tasty. Oh the peach cobbler was good too! The employees were very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed it.

Drove through Gibsonville to run an errand and stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious! I had fried chicken, mac and cheese, and green beans, my husband had fried chicken, greens, and the mashed potatoes. Best biscuit I’ve ever had, and the staff was so sweet! The definition of southern hospitality. We don’t live close by, but it will be worth the drive back!

Enjoyed our stop here at Pete's Grill in Gibsonville. Great service and a tasty, filling breakfast. They have a hot bar where you can get the day's special, it looked very good too! Glad we stopped in, we enjoyed it.

They serve some pretty good food, kinda made me feel at home. You have to pay cash and check only but, that adds to its specialty. I would definitely come here again. They’re sanitation rating is a 98.5 and that is very good.
