Happy Garden Chinese restaurant

This place was more than expected. The food (Chicken with cashews) was superb, and along with wonton soup and egg rolls. I asked for Chinese tea, but the cashier said that was not available. I said that was OK, and ordered sweet tea. My wife and I were enjoying our dinner when to my surprise I was given at our table a cup of Chinese tea. :) That was a pleasant surprise and an enjoyable one at that. I think that was not a sale item but was given out of courtesy. The staff was all so friendly as we were leaving the restaurant as we expressed our appreciation to all.

Very good egg rolls! My first time trying this place out & it was great. I like how you can order online and still pay in store. Food was quick and pretty decent prices with a great size portion of food. I’ll definitely be back!

Delicious Chinese food at reasonable prices. They offer student discounts, but are definitely more of a take out place than a dine in place. I've been eating there for about six years.

The is my go-to for Chinese takeout. Extra-extra-extra spicy...they will light you up in a great way.
Flavor is always on point and service is fast.

Excellent little Asian restaurant. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. What impress me the most is the fact that you're made to order dish can be ready within 20 minutes after placing an order over the phone. Never have to wait very long, they always have it when I arrive and the food has never disappointed me yet. If you support small businesses, then this is definitely one of them you should patronize by spending your money here!

Staff is always friendly and the food is always hot and so delicious. We have tried other Chinese restaurants, and they don't hold a candle to Happy Garden. Happy Garden is the best....all time favorite Chinese restaurant!

Best Chinese in the county. Sesame chicken is outstanding. My son loves the Orange Chicken..Says he will be coming back.

Food was great! Got a large sweet tea and let me tell you lol it was LARGE! And the tea was so good. Food was hot and got to see them finish up my order and they know now to cook! Got lots of porkfried rice that was good will be going back 100%

Lunch specials are awesome you get enough to feed at least two so it’s super budget friendly as well!!! You can dine in or take to go and they’re young kid friendly as well! Be prepared to wait at least 15-20 mins. For your food during busy times

Great food, very friendly staff. My wife and I have been going there for years. Almost always get my order before the quoted time. I always tip them, they work hard and make delicious food. Tip your food service workers people, they deserve it.

I have been to the other chinese restaurants around burlington and prefer this local one. Food quality and service is good. Steamed dumplings and the sauce it is served with is unreal. Also shrimp and broccoli and general tso chicken was great. Has quickly became our go to for chinese in the area.

This is one of or maybe the best Chinese take out in the area. Tonight was very unusual in that it was extremely busy and instead of the normal 10 minutes it took approximately 45 minutes to get my order. They had said 30 minutes which was odd, and when I got there they had three very large orders for groups in process or finished and several of us were sitting there waiting. This won't stop me from going back because the staff is and food is good. We ordered chicken and broccoli, chicken and mixed vegetables, and chicken curry. Normally we get the family pack which is a fantastic deal, but tonight I didn't want to feed us with the egg rolls and wontons Etc nor the sodas. Their chicken wings are very good too. I was so tempted but did not get them.

Have been going to this restaurant since I moved to the area 3 years ago. Prices aren't terrible and the portions are generous. Worth the try if you haven't yet. Have yet to have a bad experience with anything we've ordered.

Best Chinese takeout around! Try the orange chicken, general sao's, and the dumplings (the dipping sauce is amazing!). The family that owns this business is very nice and has been here a long time.

Also, as a random side note for any kids who like to collect coins, they have a gumball type dispenser next to the soda machine that gives out coins from all over the world instead of plastic toys for 50 cents.

Hands down the best Chinese food. Service is always excellent and fast. Our family orders from here almost weekly and we have never been disappointed. We love Happy Garden!

Sesame seed chicken with pork fried rice and egg roll combo. Good value for under $8. Owners are friendly. Order was ready in 10 mins. on Thursday evening at 9pm.

Best Chinese food we have found in Guilford County, hands down.

Great little place for yummy food. The little family that runs it are super nice and go the extrile to make sure you get what you want. We eat here at least 2 times a month.
