I was catering a 50th birthday open house style party. Kori was fantastic to work with. Their menus are so extensive and with so many delicious choices. With Kori’s guidance and advice, we selected a menu that fit the dietary needs of my guests, would be easy to manage for the duration of the party, and her attention to details made all the difference. For instance, since the party was an open house, people would be arriving throughout the afternoon. Kori had the food packaged in half trays and half bowls so that we could easily refresh the buffet as food was eaten. Plus this helped with fitting the food into a regular side by side refrigerator. The delivery and set up was so easy, Mike was wonderful. It arrived with perfect timing for the first guests. I will definitely use Canapes again!

The menu we selected was beef, chicken, and veggie kabobs, quinoa salad, potato salad, a green salad, sliced fruit, and cheese and crackers. Everything was gluten free and nut free.

Oh my heavens! The food was delicious, the staff was SO lovely. As a wedding photographer for a mutual couple I really appreciated that they treated myself and my team just as they did the guests. We received a hot AMAZING meal (and desert YUM!). The coordinator was incredible and SO helpful. My favorite were the zoodles! Thank you for keeping our bellies and hearts full!

We had the honor of having Canapés Catering, cater our wedding and they did not disappoint! We worked with Kori and then Becky directly and they were so personable and went the extra mile for us! We had so many compliments on the food, we will be back often to have lunch :)

I stopped by at Canapés' Grab and Go and grabbed some great food. They are a full service caterer and have launched a pickup or delivery service for many of their most popular dishes. They offer a full menu including many home made pastries and cupcakes.

We had the shrimp tacos-not the small ones but big ones wrapped in a grilled taco shell. The roast beef was very tender and perfectly seasoned. I got the quiche for my wife's breakfast as that is her favorite food. I bet I will be just as good.

ML Carrol and her team real did a great job. Mike the sous chef did a super job in make our lunch and a huge shout out for the care that went into it!!!!

This bakery has the best tasting cupcakes on this side of the planet! I usually hate the icing on the cupcakes but theirs, I can just live with the icing. The quality of their bakery products are superb compared to any name brand cakes or pastries.

We came here for the 550 grab and go... and it did not disappoint!!! I got "Thr Frederick Sloppy" and it was such a huge sandwich that it took me two days to eat it! It was so delicious. We also tried a half dozen assorted cupcakes, which have been the most delicious cupcakes I think I've ever eaten. The staff are super nice, helpful, and attentive. I am such a huge fan of this place now! My only complaint is that I didn't get more food to try (they have macaroons, breakfast items, special breads, cakes, cookies)! I would eat here more often if they were open later or on weekends, but i will definitely carve out time during the week to support this local business!!

Canapes catered our wedding in September 2023, and my husband and I cannot say enough great things about our experience! From start to finish, Becky and her team provided exceptional support. The extensive menu is almost overwhelming – they provide just about anything you can imagine, and everything we sampled at our tasting was fantastic. Canapes patiently discussed any customizations we wanted, as well as made recommendations to accommodate dietary restrictions. With the bar already so high, the food and service they provided for our reception still managed to exceed expectations. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and well-timed. Becky also went the extra mile to ensure that my husband and I were able to enjoy our appetizers and meals, despite the numerous demands for our attention, by setting aside servings that we could eat at our convenience. She and the team also packed up any leftovers we had, so that we could enjoy them later. They provided superior food and service, so professionally and smoothly – we strongly recommend Canapes Catering for any event near Frederick, MD.

We used Canapés for our recent wedding and I couldn't be happier with it. The food, the staff, the service, the entire process; phenomenal. We still have guests commenting on how delicious the food was and how wonderful and attentive the staff was. I would absolutely recommend canapés for any of your catering needs. Also Becky was an absolute dream to deal with as our catering contact person (really every staff member was a delight to deal with). Also if your'e in the area, stop at their cafe for a grab and go item - SO GOOD!.

Canapes Catering did my wedding on 2/5 and they were amazing. Julie was fantastic and the rest of the staff was so on point. The changeover from the ceremony to the reception was so smooth and we got so many compliments on the food. I will edit when I have pictures to add as it was also very well arranged!

For my first time coming here I really am impressed! The pastry and cupcakes selection is so crazy so many variety to choose from. I had the tiramisu and it was so good! I also had the chicken cápresse sandwich it was amazing! Definitely will come again to try something else from the menu.

I attended a dinner at big cork vineyards, canapés was catering, all the food was absolutely delicious.

I could literally eat this food every day of my life!! I know wedding food isn’t typically what people get excited about, but Canapes is a completely different story. I am still getting compliments about every single item that was served at our wedding - and I do not disagree!

In addition to their kitchen skills, Canapes handled every detail perfectly. Soley and Jessica were constantly in communication with us and made sure to iron out all details in a timely manner. At our tasting, we were able to try everything we had asked about as well as being able to see/feel all the decor options we were renting from them.

Their prices are fully transparent and they were great about working with us to stay within our budget. I cannot say enough great things about this company, and would strongly encourage everyone to work with them!!

Canapes made our cake and cupcakes for our recent wedding. Everything was delicious and spot on! We had numerous tastings and the hardest part was picking the flavors (they are all so good!) We decided on a lemon cake, with orange dreamsicle and double chocolate cupcakes. They turned out perfectly and we got many compliments about how tasty they were! We'll definitely be coming back to Canapes for birthdays and celebrations - we can't get enough of the gourmet cupcakes! Thank you Canapes for helping make our wedding day so special! Canapes catered my wedding at Strong Mansion on 10/25/20 and did a fantastic job! Planning was difficult during Covid but owner ML Carroll helped to give me everything I wanted and still being safe for all my guests. The food turned out amazing and most of my guests were full from appetizers because they said they were so good and they did a great job making sure everyone got some! Dinner was fantastic and coordinator Amanda did a great job making sure myself and my husband had what we needed and kept checking in with me. Everyone was very friendly and professional and kept things running very smoothly. Thank you all for making our day go just how we wanted and the food was the most important thing for me and I'm very happy with how good it turned out! Canapes performed a flawless execution of our vegan wedding menu. The food was amazing and the staff so friendly and kind. We really loved working with Jessica, Paige, and ML to finalize our event. We are very happy we chose to work with Canapes :)

My husband and I were married a little over a year ago and I still can't get over how great our cake looked and how delicious it was! Probably the best cake I've ever tasted, especially the snickerdoodle! My guests were raving about it! If you're looking for a dessert that will blow your mind and your tastebuds don't look elsewhere!

Went in for a tasting with my fiance with Jennifer and the whole experience was wonderful. All of the foods were amazing to the point where we questioned why all the foods that we've had at other weddings didn't taste just as good. Jennifer also went over all of our linen options and showed us many combinations since we were early in the planning process. Great first impression.

During my years 14 years in Frederick MD, I recall attending a wedding and 3 retirement ceremonies that the services of Canape's was contracted. At every event (regardless of budget) I found myself wondering who catered the event and to my amazement Canapes Catering was the service provider.

Fast Forward to current time period, as the children have now been home for 2 weeks we have stopped in numerous times and it has been a delightful experience. The family has been embraced by a caring staff who is willing to listen and work with us as professionals. The food has been amazing and the kiddos have really enjoyed the daily lunches provided by Canapes Cafe to-go.

If you or your organization have a function to host, I strongly urge you to reach out to this well run catering service.

In the least stop in and meet the staff over lunch as they know most of their costumers by their first name and pay special attention to everyones dietary needs.

Way to go Canapes, you have truly won me over!
