Everyone has a ‘best burger ever’ place and this place is gonna make it at least to the top 5 for me, if not higher. It’s not fancy. It’s simple, no frills, just good food and good people. Amazing service, polite hosts, amazing food. 100% recommend getting a milkshake too!

Found this place like a week ago and it's now My favorite place to go in Cleveland. The burgers and onions rings are so delicious. I don't normally like coleslaw but I like theirs. Their prices are low probably cheapest place in town but the quality is really what hits the mark here. And I love the old style decor they have. The staff is always so friendly when I come in, just lovely vibes. It is only cash which I don't mind at all bc it's old school. Make sure you stop by! You know I will. 🙂

This is a stand alone little lunch counter where local folks might walk in, and one of the servers would say, “The usual?” And the customer would say, “Yeah!” I had lunch there today. I paid $5 plus change for a corn dog, onion rings and a large coke, tax included. Workers here are friendly and efficient. Food is made to order, and better than in most chain burger joints. The place is old but clean, and decorated with many decades-old pharmacy and soda fountain items. I’ve had a very pleasant experience.

Finally got to try this little jem and was not disappointed. It was a walk down memory lane. Great food, great prices and friendly people. Loved it!

Love love love! Simple concession type food -- hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, etc. Super cheap too. My favorite thing about it was how cute it was. It is just a little tiny old fashioned soda shop. Nostalgia abounds! The kids loved the homemade milkshakes. The only con I could find was that they are cash only and it didn't say that anywhere before we walked in. Luckily, the guy at the bar beside us forewarned us before we ordered. But when your whole meal is only $6, it doesn't make any sense for them to pay fees to take credit cards.

Food - 10/10. Made to order, so it's always hot. Owners are usually cooking, so it's consistent. Americana that chain restaurants wish they could replicate. Authentic soda.

Price - 10/10. $7 for a full meal. $10 to get stuffed. Cheapest candies in town.

Service - 9/10. Nice, but efficient. Everyone's doing their best. Can they get busy? Sure. Just chill out and look at the memorabilia. Slightly confusing on where/how to order but you'll figure it out. Might not find a seat; a casualty of their own popularity.

Atmosphere - 10/10. Go back in time 60 years.

We have loved this place for about 16 years now. If you want real food, hot , good food, great prices you have found the perfect place

Great Mom and Pop place. Food was great, prices are exceptionally cheap and we sat at the counter and could watch them close up, cook our food. 2 burgers, 2 orders of fries and 2 cokes were a grand total of $8.79. A quaint place where you feeling like you stepped back into the 1960's. Will definitely eat here again!

Staff is always nice and welcoming. Food was great. Price is affordable! Cheapest place in town to eat with great food.

If you are visiting you definitely need to come checkout this place. The burgers are amazing 10/10.

A step back in time, real beef burgers, delicious slaw dogs, fries and onion rings. Their milk shakes are great. They also have chili and beef stew but I haven't tried them yet. Home town atmosphere, clean with friendly service.

Was referred by a lady that grew up w the owner. We both had the double cheeseburgers one w fries & one w onion rings. Everything was good but the best part was it was just over $11 for 2 to have lunch. Now that was amazing!

The food was really cheap and delicious! The owners were extremely friendly and the service was fast. Definitely recommend the burgers!

I've lived in Cleveland quite a long time. So it's easily not my yearn for Cleveland as a hometown that makes Smith's soda shop a 5 star dining experience. Smith's has always been a wonderful place to bring family or friends and really have amazing food for such an extremely low price. If you visit Cleveland don't have smith's soda shop. You're missing out on the experiences that North Georgia as a whole has to offer.
